We've seen slight weaknesses in Wales' squad but South Africa are very accurate.

South Africa have just had their first visit to Wales' 22, it's a powerful break from Wilco Louw.

But Wales come away with the penalty, with James Botham and Nicky Smith combining well to win turnover ball.

Few expect that to change today against the world champions but just for a moment before kick-off there seemed to be a little hope here.

Anything is possible but a full 80-minute performance is what is required to make that [win] a possibility, so I hope that the boys go out there today and don't feel too much pressure like the first two games.

I think the expectation of Wales was on them like it was for Fiji and Australia, but I don't think anyone is expecting them to win today.

Will Rowlands always looks like somebody with potential to be a British and Irish Lions player.

Someone else who is injured is Tomos Williams - Wales' best player leading into the autumn but unfortunately he's injured and it's difficult to look past that at the moment.

There's a long way to go, a lot of water to go under the bridge until next summer.

Will Rowlands says Wales' players have to accept responsibility for the "brutal situation" they find themselves in.

"We are all very aware we are the players, ultimately, we are the people who are playing the game and who control whether we win or lose," said Rowlands.

"You need good coaching input, support staff, you need everything else around it, but ultimately, the buck falls with us."

Racing 92 lock Rowlands also says South Africa are not unbeatable.

"I have belief if we play well we can beat South Africa, but having a good performance will give us something to build on moving forward," he said.

"They are a fantastic side, and are world champions for a reason, but there are guys in our team who have beaten them before."
