Wales want to keep building under Sean Lynn and there is also the hope that the club game could get a lift.

The Welsh Rugby Union (WRU) has expressed an interest in joining England's Premiership Women's Rugby (PWR), which is set to expand.

Scrum-half Keira Bevan, who plays for Bristol, has backed the move.

Last year's meeting between the sides was certainly one to forget for Wales, with Italy easing to a 44-12 win in Parma.

The visitors led at half-time thanks to Kate Williams and Gwenllian Pyrs scoring either side of Sofia Stefan's try.

The Italians absolutely dominated after the break with Francesca Granzotto, Silvia Turani, Vittoria Minuzzi and Aura Muzzo all crossing for a bonus-point win.

It condemned Wales to a whitewash for the first time with former captain Siwan Lillicrap labelled it "a dark day for Welsh rugby".

Wales make just one change to the starting line-up after last week's frustrating defeat by Ireland.

Seren Singleton returns on the win in place of Hannah Dallavalle, who drops to the bench.

Wales took positives from the first three rounds of the championship but were disappointed by the Belfast display, with boss Sean Lynn giving a shot at redemption.

"We came into camp on Tuesday this week and you could see the frustration from the players," he said.

"One thing I've said to the girls and staff this week, we've got 80 minutes to put that right. We haven't got next week."

Wales: Powell; Singleton, Cox, Keight, J Joyce; George, Bevan; Pyrs, Jones, Tuipulotu, Metcalfe, Evans, Aiono, Lewis (capt), King

Replacements: Reardon, Davies, Rose, John, A Joyce, Lockwood, Dallavalle, Prothero

Sean Lynn's side attempt to follow the lead of Steve Tandy's team in Cardiff this afternoon.

Wales men ended a 15-match Six Nations losing streak against Italy at Principality Stadium in March.

We are next door at Cardiff Arms Park today to see if Wales women can stop their run hitting double figures by beating the Italians.

There have been signs of progress in the championship but Lynn could really do with enjoying a first Six Nations success since taking the reins ahead of the 2025 tournament.

Let's have a look at the teams...
