Once Scarlets have that momentumn, they've kept it.

Credit to Archie Hughes, the speed of the breakdown. He's not looking for himself, he's looking for his team mates around him for options.

Leggatt-Jones is seeing the space perfectly, as a coach, you can't coach that, it comes naturally to the player and that set it up beautifully for Page to go over.

Adding to what Cennydd said earlier (19:55 GMT) - absolutely right about Archer Holz. The Australian prop has carried like a Sherman tank so far tonight.

A Sherman tank that travels at speed in fact.

That is Tom Rogers ripping the ball free.

How many similar mistakes are Zebre going to do today?

A beautiful angle, Macs Page has found a way to improve his game and coming in from the middle, going on that angle, he's over for a try.

Scarlets have to keep this going now, and another great carry by Holz.

It looked like Zebre were getting back into the game for a moment, and then all of a sudden, Scarlets are back among the tries.

They're going to have to tidy up their kicking game though. It's been a constant source of frustration to the coaches sitting behind me.

Just as Zebre were enjoying some sustained possession, Scarlets strike again.

Johnny Williams offloads to Max Douglas and he, Fletcher Anderson, and Archer Holz then all carry strongly towards the posts.

It leaves Archie Hughes needing only to make a simple pop pass to Macs Page and the centre dives over from barely two metres out.

Leggat-Jones adds the extras and the hosts are now just one try from a bonus point.

Everyone wants time on the pitch, and this is a good opportunity for Leggatt-Jones.

To get the momentum and feel of a game, to learn, understand and improve.

    Scarlets 12-0 Zebre

Having barely touched the ball for 18 minutes, Zebre get a chance out of nowhere.

Giacomo Da Re charges down a chip from Carwyn Leggatt-Jones and races downfield - only to be undone by an unkind bounce as the ball sails back over his head.

Had that fallen kindly, the number 10 was under the posts there. Nigel Davies might also have asked Leggatt-Jones to walk home.

They put in the hard work, it wasn't the prettiest of tries.

Zebre need to wake up a little bit, they're letting the Scarlets bundle over.

It's not the most perfect, but enough to take it to Zebre and get points on the board.

    Louisi try, Leggatt-Jones con

The second row goes over for the second try.

From a penalty, Carwyn Leggatt-Jones finds the corner and Mas Douglas makes the catch at the lineout. The ball then goes loose in the driving maul but crucially, goes backwards where Louisi is waiting to pick up and pounce from close range.

Not exactly a pre-planned set move, but it will do fine.

Great carry and strength by Holz.

If there is a Welsh ancestor in his family tree, it needs looking at.

    Scarlets 5-0 Zebre

That's a waste. Sam Louisi wins clean lineout ball but the drive forward is spoilt as Josh Macleod knocks on.

The Zebre scrum creaks but Giacomo Ferrari does well to pick up at the base and the Italians clear their lines.

It feels like a new block after the Six Nations, Tom Rogers showing his aerial skills for that scrum.

It was a good set up, Hughes saw the play and Taylor did well to get that over.

This could not have started better for the home side as Ryan Elias wins a penalty from a powerful carry and Carwyn Leggat-Jones boots his side downfield.

    Another platform to attack here.

    The perfect start!

Zebre knock-on from the kick-off and immediately Scarlets have an attacking scrum. Pressure follows before Archie Hughes breaks blind and finds Jarrod Taylor - who shrugs off an attempted tackle to score out wide.

That will settle the Scarlets down.

A beautiful day here in Wales followed by a calm, clear evening. Not said that very often in the last few months.

If Scarlets fans want to turn to good omens tonight, then the head-to-head record between these sides should calm any nerves.

Since Zebre became part of the same league, the sides have met 18 times, most recently in October 2024 when the Welsh side prevailed 30-8. In fact, only once have the Italian avoided defeat against Scarlets and that came way back in 2013 when the pair played out a 16-16 draw.

Massimo Brunelloable's men have also lost their two previous encounters with Welsh sides this season, beaten by both Cardiff and Ospreys.

Away supporters may feel they're due a win at the Parc. It's a prospect that Nigel Davies and co dare not even contemplate.

Nigel Davies began his Scarlets return with a 27-22 home win over Ulster in January, but his side have not played in west Wales since.

Therefore, the interim director of rugby is relishing being back at the Parc tonight, saying this week:

"I'm looking forward to playing at home, it's only my second game at home since I've come here. "I thought the crowd was great last time, so hopefully they can come out and support the boys."

On the return of his Wales contingent, he added: "It's good to see them back. They're all in good spirits.

"Some of them come back with some slight knocks, others a little bit tired because they played quite a lot of international rugby. As well as a physical rollercoaster, it's an emotional rollercoaster, so just trying to blend them back into the team is key."

Zebre coach Massimo Brunelloable is also able to freshen up his XV with the return of international personnel, although is still without two of his big guns.

David Odiase, who came on as a second-half replacement at the Principality Stadium last week, is picked on the bench but two other players who featured against Wales - starting scrum-half Alessandro Fusco and hooker Tommaso Di Bartolomeo - have been left out.

Giacomo Da Re starts again at number 10, with inside centre Damiano Mazza also picked after failing to win his first cap in the Six Nations despite being part of Gonzalo Quesada's squad.

Zebre: Belloni; Batista, Zanon, Mazza, Gesi; Da Re, Garcia; Buonfiglio, Ribaldi, Pieretto, Canali, Ortombina, Stavile, Bianchi, Ferrari. Replacements: Quattrini, Pitinari, Neculai, Ruggeri, Odiase, Dominguez, Roger Farias, Bertaccini.
