Six tries and a bonus point win, fair to say that Scarlets did the job they needed to tonight against the URC's bottom team.
Their first-half play was clinical, half-backs Archie Hughes and Carwyn Leggatt-Jones utilised the space superbly and Archer Holz delivered a standout display both in the loose and the tight.
But in reality, tonight's result was no more than par for Nigel Davies and co. Zebre improved after the break but for the opening 40 minutes were tame and easy to exploit.
Next week will provide a much more realistic indication of where this side is at - the small matter of a trip to Ireland to play champions Leinster.
Thank you for joining us for our live coverage this evening on a mixed night for Welsh teams. And with Ospreys and Dragons among the sides still to come, this weekend still has a long way to run.
Really happy, I think this group we've worked really hard over the past few months especially and to get a result tonight, especially at home, really means a lot.
We've got brilliant fans so to turn up for them tonight was really good.
Was just trying to do my job, being physical, at collisions and set-piece and thankfully tonight we had the boys get around us.
As an eight I think we worked really well, which makes my job really easy.
Credit to the boys they made my life a hell of a lot easier.
That is the moment of the match as the young centre breaks from inside his own half and executes a perfect chip and chase - regathering before speeding under the posts.
It has been noted that Nigel Davies was slightly evasive on his Scarlets future this week.
Tonight's result is unlikely to alter the future in that respect, but out of interest Scarlets fans.....thumbs up here if you want him to remain in place. Down, if you feel his temporary stint should remain just that.
Fair play, Zebre flanker Bautista Stavile throws a dummy and shows a turn of pace, making 30 metres in the process.
Eventually he's hauled down and Marnus van der Merwe wins a penalty via a jackal but for a moment, I thought we were going to see a sensation individual score there.
