Yup, Pablo Matera was lurking and would have scored without Alex Coles' deflection.

There's a definite flap of the hand, with contact, from Alex Coles.

"At the moment, 4's going to the bin for a deliberate knock-on," says Angus Gardner. But he wants to see if Pablo Matera was in position to score.

    Another yellow card coming here.

This could also go to a penalty try.

Ohhhhh so close for Argentina. Tomas Albornoz - who else? - bursts free but it stopped just short of the line. He rolls over and tries to pop the ball up to a blue shirt but only finds a backtracking Ollie Chessum.

Good tackle by Henry Slade to bring down the Argentina fly-half.

Referee Angus Gardner wants to look at another deliberate knock-on, this one against Alex Coles.

England are under the pump with Marcus Smith at nine and a centre at 10.

There's no way England know who should be in what position now.

They will not have trained this.

In the midst of all of that try and yellow card chaos, England made a couple of changes, with Jamie George and Ellis Genge making way for Luke Cowan-Dickie and debutant Emmanuel Iyogun.

For Argentina, Lucio Cinti is on in place of Mateo Carreras.

The crowd are roaring Argentina forward. They're inside England's 22.

It's the energy and physicality. There's nothing difficult for Argentina to be a different side than they were in the first half.

It's not about cheap shots, pushing and shoving and all the stuff they were getting distracted by in the first half.

Ollie Chessum steals the line-out. Poor execution from Argentina.

Quite rightly it was a yellow card but I don't think it's a penalty try.

It's Jack van Poortvliet slapping the ball down with two hands above his head.

Tomas Albornoz was trying to unleash Santiago Carreras, with Mateo Carreras also lurking on the left wing.

Referee Angus Gardner is blowing his whistle furiously. "Easy, easy" instructs the Australian.

It looks like a collapsed game of Twister down there.

More good running from Gonzalo Garcia and Tomas Albornoz.

A little bit of a wasteful kick from Argentina and Marcus Smith watches it dribble behind.

A flurry of changes for Argentina.

Argentina have shown us more in three minutes than they did in 40 minutes in the first half.

All of us were expecting Argentina to get a rocket at half-time and that shows us we were right.

A very different level of attack, intent and strategy from Argentina.

That suggests England will have it all to do.

    Mateo Carreras (con Tomas Albornoz)

Argentina rumble forward, step by step, before scrum-half Gonzalo Garcia bursts for the line.

He's just short but Mateo Carreras makes no mistake. Not a classic try for a winger but he won't care. He bulldozed through Fin Smith!

    Tomas Albornoz adds two.
