  5. French failings?published at 20:28 BST 1 July 2021

    BBC Radio 5 Live

While it's been a memorable tournament for British tennis thus far, amazingly there will not be a single French player in the third round of either the men's or women's draws.

John McEnroe and Marion Bartoli have been discussing the state of French tennis on Radio 5 Live's 6-Love-6 show.

"It's back-to-back Grand Slams where we don't have French players in the third round after Roland Garros as well," said former Wimbledon champion Bartoli.

"It's an accumulation of different things. The young generation hasn't been there yet."
