  1. What's happening around the grounds?published at 19:35 BST 28 June 2021

In addition to Andy Murray and Heather Watson, there are two other Brits on court at the moment.

Liam Broady has taken the first set 6-4 against Italian Marco Cecchinato but Jay Clarke is a set down to Belarusian Egor Gerasimov.

Elsewhere, South African Kevin Anderson has set up a repeat of the 2018 final against Novak Djokovic, beating Marcelo Tomas Barrios Vera in four sets.

Men's fifth seed Andrey Rublev has got past Federico Delbonis in four sets, while eighth seed Roberto Bautista Agut beat Australia's John Millman, also in four sets.

    Italian 19th seed Jannik Sinner is a goner though - defeated 5-7 6-3 7-5 6-3 by Hungary's Marton Fucsovics.

  2. Murray saves break point to hold - second service game in a row he's done thatpublished at 19:33 BST 28 June 2021

    Murray 6-4 4-3 Basilashvili*

And the fist pump from Murray tells you he survived that one. Murray fired a forehand at Basilashvili but he can't do much with it apart from put it in the foot of the net.

There's some more screaming, more fist pumping not long after. Murray's pumped up, the crowd is pumped up. We've been here before, but not for a long time.

  3. Postpublished at 19:31 BST 28 June 2021

Murray had to save a break point in his last service game. He's going to have to go to the well again in this one. 30-40, break point.

That's an important hold of serve - From break point down, that's a little mini-skirmish that Murray won there.

  6. Pivotal?published at 19:24 BST 28 June 2021

    Jonathan Jurejko

Not sure how Basilashvili missed that sliced dropshot on break point. Neither does anyone on Centre - including Murray. The Scot was stranded at the back of the court.

Feel like that might be prove to be pivotal.

  7. Murray saves break point to hold servepublished at 19:24 BST 28 June 2021

    Murray 6-4 3-2 Basilashvili*

You just wonder if that Basilashvili error when he had a chance for a break will come back to bite him.

Murray takes advantage of that good fortune and a double punch of the air shows how important he thought that was. He holds, we continue on serve in the second.

    *Murray 6-4 2-2 Basilashvili

That's a big missed chance for Basilashvili, on break point. Murray's at the back of the court on the back foot and Basilashvili has what looks a routine drop shot to get the break.

But he underhits it, it doesn't make it over the net and Murray (plus 7,500 people) breathe a collective sigh of relief. Deuce.

"Come on Andy," is the cry, but it comes as Murray has to defend his first break point. 30-40.

  11. Watson in action...published at 19:18 BST 28 June 2021

    Watson v Ahn

Great Britain's Heather Watson - ranked 68th in the world - is taking on American Kristie Ahn - ranked 117 - on Court One.

The winner will play Sloane Stephens, who looked in fine form in beating Petra Kvitova earlier.

A big ask for the winner then but as a football manager might say... "one match at a time".

    *Murray 6-4 2-2 Basilashvili

Players slipping has been a regular part of Centre Court life today but Murray can't capitalise on a stumble from his opponent as a lofted shot drifts wide after the Georgian had lost his balance. 15-15

    *Murray 6-4 2-2 Basilashvili

We haven't seen many aces from Basilashvili but he wraps up the fourth game of the second set with one, just his second of the contest so far.

  14. Watson on nowpublished at 19:14 BST 28 June 2021

With the need to get games played due to the rain earlier, Heather Watson's opener against Kristie Ahn has been moved onto Court One, which I'm sure the Brit will relish.

These two have met before, on the ITF circuit in 2019 with Watson winning.

American Ahn has never won a Grand Slam main draw match on foreign soil before, whereas Watson has reached the third round at Wimbledon on three occasions.

    Murray 6-4 2-1 Basilashvili*

The second set is following the same pattern as the first - tight and tense with neither man giving much away. Hard to criticise Murray's serving so far, that's 10 aces and he's picked up 85% of points on his first serve.

Basilashvili is heavily relying on the forehand, but sends one far too long and that helps Murray keep the home fans happy.

Basilashvili has only had one by comparison.
