    Murray 6-4 6-3 2-0 Basilashvili*

Hard to see how this could be going any better for Andy Murray. He's only been on court one hour 37 minutes and is in control of this one.

A backhand into the net from his opponent helps Murray take another game and there's daylight in the second set as he backs up that break with a hold.

This is just a beautiful display of grass-court tennis, along with an excellent gameplan that has just befuddled Basilashvili.

    First set Heather Watson.

The Brit is well on top against Kristie Ahn, a little smile as she sealed that opening set.

    Watson 5-2 Ahn

Great Britain's Heather Watson is working well at the net - winning nine points from nine there.

She's hitting winners for fun too, with 13 to just one from Kristie Ahn.

  9. Game and second set - Murraypublished at 19:44 BST 28 June 2021

    Murray 6-4 6-3 Bashilashvili

Attempt one - Basilashvili nets, but the serve was out so it doesn't matter.

Attempt two - A drop shot from the gods from Murray. Beautiful. Basilashvili springs forwards, nearly ends up face first in the turf and can't get there in time.

Andy Murray two-thirds of the way to round two.

There's a lot of enthusiasm on that Basilashvili return, but too much so and it flies well out. Set point Murray for 2-0.

But flags might have to be held on to for a bit as Basilashvili is on the prowl for an immediate break back. 15-30.

A bloke wearing a Scotland rugby shirt celebrated Murray earning that second break point like Stuart Hogg had scored a Six Nations winning try.

He celebrated Murray taking it like, well, something much better. As did the whole of Centre.

Saltires are waving, tartan hats are being doffed. Like old times this…

Another unforced error from Basilashvili, clipping the top of the net with a two-handed backhand which would've been a winner and that gives Murray another chance of a break.

Double fault to get him in trouble, ace to get him out of it. Basilashvili. Inconsistent. Break point saved.
