It's been a real turnaround in that first set, a complete change of energy, picked their levels up. It's very demoralising for the opponents and hard to get back on top when you show your nerves and fragility.

    Mattek-Sands/Murray 6-5 Krejcikova/Mektic*

The Czech-Croat combo have misplaced their compass - the shot-making is very erratic now.

30-15 as Krejcikova goes very long with her lob before Mektic goes wide with his return.

BMS and Murray eventually hold and go ahead in the set.

Good serve, but it's still break point. No advantage in this mixed doubles at deuce.

    Now then.

Break point as Mektic goes long from the back.

    He's lost his cool.

I'm not sure I have seen Jamie Murray miss a volley. And not only does he not miss, he puts that ball away.

He might be sweating now - the Croat finds the net with a volley.

Croat Mektic smacks down his first ace - 30-0.

He's not sweating - cooler than a warehouse of chest freezers.

I think Jamie makes the decisions - he is discussing where he's going to serve. He is going to serve over her head, which is quite worrying!

It is hard to believe the way Mattek-Sands bounces round the court that she dislocated her knee in 2017, and all the things she went through to reconstruct it. It is unbelievable what she has been through, but she brings so much joy to the court.

    Mattek-Sands/Murray 4-5 Krejcikova/Mektic*

Krejcikova has the chance to go down the line but tries crosscourt and finds the net. Wrong move.

30-0 before Murray slaps a volley out of reach.

The Scot then fires down an ace. Mektic to now serve for the set.

That is unusual, I am very surprised at Mattek-Sands watching Sofia Kenin from her box earlier - you would think you would want to be in the locker room preparing, relaxing and not getting too emotionally spent.

But the GB-US pair fight back to hold serve.

Good serving from BMS in that game having come under some pressure from the opposition.

15-15 after Mektic sends the American to the Tasman Sea.

Krejcikova then follows up with another cracking return. 15-30.

    Mattek-Sands/Murray 2-3 Krejcikova/Mektic*

    No panicking from Krejcikova-Mektic.

First Krejcikova wins a point with a stabbing volley down the middle before Mektic does the same.

    30-0.

    15s each.
