GB 6-6 (2-5) Spain*
Loose from Rafa, unable to deal with a Skupski slower ball. But Lopez strings a baseline stroke between the GB pair off the next one, they both left it... the stadium erupts.

"Rafa presidente!" shouts one bloke after that killer serve. He didn't shout it again after that wayward forehand from Nadal...
The Spanish fans climb to their feet again at the change of ends, breaking into song as they sense this is their chance...
*GB 6-6 (1-4) Spain
Rip-roaring serve down the T from Nadal. Spain edging clear.
GB 6-6 (1-3) Spain*
Lopez goes sprinting back into an advertising hoarding, and can't retrieve the bouncing ball.
Whistles and jeers as a Rafael Nadal serve is judged to have clipped the net. The Spaniards taking their time... and then winning the point as Lopez strikes at the net.
*GB 6-6 (0-2) Spain
The boys in red and yellow on the side cheer on that Spanish point, and they're on their feet again moments later as Rafa Nadal scoops up a short ball and nonchalantly flicks it around Neal Skupski.
GB 6-6 (0-0) Spain*
Smart hold for Great Britain. To a breaker we go...
*GB 5-6 Spain

Spain were put under a lot of pressure, some very good play by the British pair.
Good signs for the Brits – they would have loved to capitalise on a break point but it’s always good news going into a tie-break, should they get there, that they are winning points on their opponents’ serve
*GB 5-6 Spain
A late challenge from the Brits... Rafa was almost ready to serve again. Now was that just to unsettle him? It was well in. Nadal draws Skupski out wide, then Lopez dishes the Brit's return just over the net and Murray can't pick it up. Agonising. Spain hold.
GB 5-5 Spain*
Rafael Nadal is so pumped for this, another cannonball like serve to make it advantage. GB aren't going away though, Skupski guesses right as Lopez wriggles inside and that's deuce.
GB 5-5 Spain*
Big save from Nadal. Veins popping from his neck as he punches both hands forward to soak up the celebrations of the crowd. Deuce.
GB 5-5 Spain*
HUGE serve from Rafael Nadal. An absolute wrist-rattler from the Spaniard to blast his way back to 30-30. Jamie Murray keeps the point alive after being forced out wide, and is backed up by Neal Skupski. Nadal scuttles around on to his forehand side but punches long.
Break point for GB.

Still on serve in this semi-final decider.
*GB 4-5 Spain
Lovely stuff from the GB pair, both up at the tape to close out the space. 40-0.
*GB 4-5 Spain
Rafael Nadal is geeing up the Madrid crowd. It's raucous in there as Jamie Murray tries to concentrate on his serve. The Scot isn't fazed, a snappy serve followed by a smart Neal Skupski volley at the net. 15-0.

Not a receiving point won in the past three games.
Meanwhile, Gerard Pique is in the house. Fresh from Barcelona's win at Madrid-based Leganes earlier, the man behind this new 16-nations final is back at his other job.
*GB 4-5 Spain
They're trading blows at rapid speed now, the servers coming to the fore. Neither team have really been able to engage the other in a rally in the past couple of games.
Spain hold to love this time out.

After that marathon in his last service game, Neal Skupski will be delighted to nab a quick hold to love. No wonder he puffs out his cheeks and has a spring in his step as he hops back to the baseline.
