  1. Back outpublished at 17:02 BST 2 June 2019

    Cavan 0-7 Armagh 0-7

No chances for either side at the break. The referee did however have to go into the changing rooms to drag out the players. Plenty of tactical talk on both sides then.

  2. Cavan going to have a wind advantagepublished at 16:50 BST 2 June 2019

Looking at the elements at the minute, it appears Cavan are going to have a pretty decent wind advantage in the second half.

Gearoid McKiernan managed to set up Christopher Conroy's equalising point in first-half injury-time but he has been well held by Armagh to date.

Martin Reilly has also been losing his battle with Aidan Forker but if those two men can get on the ball more, Cavan will be in business methinks.

  3. 16,716 at Clonespublished at 16:49 BST 2 June 2019

We've got the biggest attendance of the Ulster Championship so far with 16,716 at St Tiernach's Park.

  5. Nothing in itpublished at 16:46 BST 2 June 2019

    Cavan 0-7 Armagh 0-7

So after the opening act of this semi-final, we are absolutely none the wiser as to who will reach the showpiece event.

The sides have been level seven times, and the biggest lead has been two points.

Nothing to separate them and no discernible pattern to suggest who will come out on top in this one.

If I was absolutely forced into choosing who would be happier with that half, you would have thought Cavan given that they will have the wind at their backs when play resumes.

It is right in the balance though. Just how we like it.

  6. Game following the scriptpublished at 16:42 BST 2 June 2019

    Cavan 0-7 Armagh 0-7

    John Haughey
    BBC Sport NI at Clones

This one is going to the script so far. Both teams trading blows but apart from Jarlath Og Burns' early missed goal chance, no real crucial moments in the contest to date. Kieran McGeeney showed his ruthless streak in substituting James Morgan a couple of minutes after his booking for hauling down Dara McVeety.

  7. Half-timepublished at 16:42 BST 2 June 2019

    Cavan 0-7 Armagh 0-7

Gearoid McKiernan must be a nightmare to play against.

He is swarmed by three Armagh players and looks a dead cert to cough up posession, but somehow the big midfielder keeps his balance, gives it to Christopher Conroy who puts it over to ensure that the teams go in level at the break.

  8. Added timepublished at 16:39 BST 2 June 2019

    Cavan 0-6 Armagh 0-7

    Armagh will take it then.

Ciaran Brady is yellow carded for a foul on Jamie Clarke, and then the referee brings the free forward by 10 yards turning a potentially difficult kick into a relatively straightforward one for Rian O'Neill.

We're into four minutes of additional time.

  9. Who wants the lead?published at 16:37 BST 2 June 2019

    Cavan 0-6 Armagh 0-6

The wides are coming thick and fast now as Conor Brady completely scuffs an effort that should be going over.

Aidan Nugent replies in kind as his effort form the right doesn't drift in as much as he would have hoped.

Can either side nudge themselves in front before the break?

  10. Wayward shooting lets Cavan off the hookpublished at 16:35 BST 2 June 2019

    Cavan 0-6 Armagh 0-6

Powerful, driving run right through the heart of the defence by Stefan Campbell but, running at full tilt, he puts his effort wide.

Jason McLaughlin is the latest man to go down for Cavan but he is back on his feet after receiving treatment and able to continue.

  11. Ridiculous decisionpublished at 16:32 BST 2 June 2019

    Cavan 0-6 Armagh 0-6

    Enda McGinley
    Three-times All-Ireland winner with Tyrone

"Ridiculous decision for me! I'm struggling to understand what the reasons are for that black card. It's a big blow for Cavan.

"Gerard Smith gone too with a hamstring injury and Mickey Graham is going to have make some big changes on the sideline."

  12. Black card for Faulknerpublished at 16:32 BST 2 June 2019

    Cavan 0-6 Armagh 0-6

Oh dear, a big blow for Cavan as Padraig Faulkner is shown a black card for a big hit on Niall Grimley. That looks harsh though.

Rian O'Neill is off the mark with the free.

Rory Grugan is shown a yellow for a late hit on Thomas Galligan. The temperature is rising in this one.

Sadly Gerard Smith's day is also done as it looks like his hamstring has gone.

  13. Nothing between thempublished at 16:28 BST 2 June 2019

    Cavan 0-6 Armagh 0-6

Gerard Smith is the latest Cavan man to back himself with the outside of the boot. Same result as when Conor Moynagh did it, Cavan back in front.

But, for the fifth time already, Armagh come back to level within a minute. It's the newly-introduced Joe McElroy cutting in from the left.

  14. Left, right and centrepublished at 16:27 BST 2 June 2019

    Cavan 0-5 Armagh 0-5

    Enda McGinley
    Three-times All-Ireland winner with Tyrone

"Left, right and through the centre. Cavan are just attacking from everywhere at the moment and, worryingly for Armagh, they are playing into the wind.

"All the momentum is with Cavan and they're doing a great job on Blaine Hughes' kickouts and that's building pressure on Armagh."

  15. Armagh defence working hardpublished at 16:26 BST 2 June 2019

    Cavan 0-5 Armagh 0-5

The new boots are working a treat for Rian O'Neill who swings a free off his right foot from a right angle.

Cavan again are happy to keep the ball in midfield and wait for the gaps to appear. However Armagh have learned from Monaghan's mistakes two weeks ago and are resolutely holding their shape, eventually forcing a long ball forward which is well dealt with by Brendan Donaghy.

James Morgan, who has already picked up a yellow card, is withdrawn from the action by Kieran McGeeney. Joe McElroy comes on in his place.

  17. Total footballpublished at 16:22 BST 2 June 2019

    Cavan 0-5 Armagh 0-4

    Paul Finlay
Former Monaghan player on Radio Ulster

"Jersey numbers mean nothing to either team at the moment and both sides are looking to have a cut in attack at any opportunity.

"That said, it is mostly frees that are keeping Cavan in the game at the moment and Armagh will be very unhappy with the amount of scores that they're giving away."

  18. Armagh indisciplinepublished at 16:22 BST 2 June 2019

    Cavan 0-5 Armagh 0-4

Oh yes Conor Moynagh. That's a fantastic score.

The corner back finds himself inside the 45 and has a go with the outside of his boot, it sails over the bar for what is the point of the day so far.

This is a topsy turvy game already, Paul Hughes brings down Niall Murray who dusts himself down and pops it over.

Four of Cavan's five scores have come from frees, while they Orchard County are being made to work really hard for their points.

  19. Chip off the old blockpublished at 16:19 BST 2 June 2019

    Cavan 0-2 Armagh 0-3

    Enda McGinley
    Three-times All-Ireland winner with Tyrone

The confidence of these young Armagh players is just unreal.

Rian O'Neill with their opening point of the game and then Jarly Og Burns with a super effort to level it again - a score his father would have been proud of!"

  20. Big hitpublished at 16:19 BST 2 June 2019

    Cavan 0-3 Armagh 0-4

A big hit on Conor Madden from Aidan Forker presents Cavan with a chance to level it up with their third free of the day.

Gearoid McKiernan duly obliges and takes the score.

Rian O'Neill has opted for about change by the way, in response to the wet pitch. Jarly Og Burns doesn't fancy being level for long as he once again sweeps his effort over the bar after a brilliant runn off the shoulder of Jamie Clarke.
