  1. One point in itpublished at 17:31 BST 2 June 2019

    Cavan 0-14 Armagh 1-12

We are nearing fever pitch as the tension ramps up another gear.

Gearoid mcKiernan goes for a loose ball with Niall Grimley, who aims a kick at the ball but gets more of the falling McKiernan instead.

Big decision for the ref, and it's just a yellow.

Cavan play on from the free and work it to Dara McVeety who shows nerves of steel to put it over.

    One point game!

  2. Easy decision for the refpublished at 17:30 BST 2 June 2019

    Cavan 0-13 Armagh 1-12

    Enda McGinley
    Three-times All-Ireland winner with Tyrone

"In fairness, he caught Mark Shields straight in the face and the referee immediately went for his pocket as if he wanted to make a statement - and he certainly."

  3. Red card for Cavanpublished at 17:29 BST 2 June 2019

    Cavan 0-13 Armagh 1-12

Ciaran Brady, what a silly thing to do.

He's under a good bit of pressure from Mark Shields and it's probably crossed over from tackling to fouling, but there's still no excuse for Brady who wildly swings an arm back and catches Shields in the face.

    Straight red.

  4. A goal chance?published at 17:25 BST 2 June 2019

    Cavan 0-13 Armagh 1-12

Niall Murray has been very good today but he can't convert a difficult free as he brings Cavan's wide count up to seven for the day.

Ethan Rafferty is on for Stefan Campbell with 15 minutes remaining.

All of a sudden there is a big chance for Cavan as Dara McVeety collects the ball in midfield and delivers it to Stephen Murray.

There's a sniff of a goal chance and there are two Cavan men to his right, but he opts to keep it safe and takes the point.

  5. Slipping and slidingpublished at 17:23 BST 2 June 2019

    Cavan 0-12 Armagh 1-12

Conor Moynagh sells a lovely dummy and moves inside but slips as he shoots as his effort goes wide.

At the other ends Aidan Nugent restores Armagh's three point lead with the help of the post.

  6. The gloves go onpublished at 17:21 BST 2 June 2019

    Cavan 0-12 Armagh 1-11

    Paul Finlay
Former Monaghan player on Radio Ulster

"I see a couple of players coming over the sideline to get their gloves. The wind and rain have picked up again here and it's making the ball and the pitch very slippy."

  7. Brilliant score by Murraypublished at 17:20 BST 2 June 2019

    Cavan 0-12 Armagh 1-11

The rain is back in full force as Clones once again displays its remarkable propensity to play host to all four seasons in one afternoon.

There is a rare break in this breathless half as Jemar Hall and Conor Moynagh accidentally collide. Both men are back on their feet after receiving treatment and we're up and running once more.

Stephen Murray is brought on and instantly makes his presence felt, spinning away from a tackle before sending it over quite brilliantly.

  8. Forker performing heroics for Armaghpublished at 17:17 BST 2 June 2019

    Cavan 0-11 Armagh 1-11

    John Haughey
    BBC Sport NI at Clones

After doing such a brilliant marking job on Martin Reilly, Forker has now delivered another blow to Cavan by slotting that superb point. He is doing Kieran McGeeney proud today.

  9. Tit for tatpublished at 17:17 BST 2 June 2019

    Cavan 0-11 Armagh 1-11

20 minutes remaining and Cavan are staying in touching distance of Armagh who, as Enda McGinley just eluded to, have shown they're not always comfortable leading games down the stretch.

Niall Murray brings it back to a one score game with another free.

  10. What are Armagh made of?published at 17:16 BST 2 June 2019

    Cavan 0-10 Armagh 1-11

    Enda McGinley
    Three-times All-Ireland winner with Tyrone

"A feature of Armagh's games this year is how they have coughed up three, four or even five-point leads before.

"I've no doubt they would have spoken about that after the Down game, when they led by five points at one stage.

"Armagh have some big questions to answer now, can they keep hold of this lead or even kick on and build on it?"

  11. Fantastic from Forkerpublished at 17:16 BST 2 June 2019

    Cavan 0-10 Armagh 1-11

Aidan Forker has been magnificent today and has set the tone for his side in terms of physicality and commitment.

He finds a bit of space and swings over an effort with his left foot. All about keeping that scoreboard ticking over for the Orchard County now.

  12. Cavan trying to fight backpublished at 17:14 BST 2 June 2019

    Cavan 0-10 Armagh 1-10

What a brilliant bit of play from Martin Reilly there.

Gearoid McKiernan sends a wayward effort left of the posts but Reilly plucks it out of the sky before it goes out of bounds, spins inside and wins a free which Niall Murray converts.

Cian Mackey is on for Conor Madden as Thomas Galligan wins a free from Jarlath Og Burns, but McKiernan sends it wide.

    Three in it.

  13. Is that goal the moment?published at 17:11 BST 2 June 2019

    Cavan 0-9 Armagh 1-10

    John Haughey
    BBC Sport NI at Clones

Is that goal going to be the key moment today? What a cool finish by Burns after brilliant work by Forker and Jamie Clarke. With O'Neill adding a further free, there is daylight between the teams for the first time.

  14. That goal breaks the tit-for-tat scoringpublished at 17:11 BST 2 June 2019

    Cavan 0-9 Armagh 1-10

    Paul Finlay
Former Monaghan player on Radio Ulster

"A big, big score in this game - particularly since it as going point-for-point before that.

"A brilliant, brilliant move by Armagh with Aidan Forker setting up the attack for Jamie Clarke and his pass found Jarlath Og Burns. A fine finish too from the midfielder."

  15. Advantage Armaghpublished at 17:11 BST 2 June 2019

    Cavan 0-9 Armagh 1-10

Armagh extend their lead via Rian O'Neill.

It's a stunning kick off the ground from past the 45. To use the old cliche, he has no right to score there.

How are cavan going to respond to this? It's been nip and tuck all game yet in the blink of an eye, they're four down.

Speaking of Rian O'Neill, he has changes his boots for the second time today. He's backing up his style with plenty of substance to be fair.

  16. Key momentpublished at 17:09 BST 2 June 2019

    Cavan 0-9 Armagh 1-9

Cavan full-back Padraig Faulkner, who was enjoying a fine game, earned a black card for this challenge on Armagh's Niall Grimley.

  17. Goal Armaghpublished at 17:08 BST 2 June 2019

    Cavan 0-9 Armagh 1-9

Jarly Og Burns has a huge breakthrough for Armagh!!

Just as in the first half, he bursts through from midfield and latches onto Jamie Clarke's ball. He went low and wide in the first half, he's low and accurate this time. Rolls it into the corner.

    A huge moment.

  18. No separationpublished at 17:07 BST 2 June 2019

    Cavan 0-9 Armagh 0-9

We've not seen a lot of Jemar Hall today, he was quiet against Down as well.

But he springs into life here in style.

Jinking inside from the left before sending it high and true and over.

Armagh lead again, but you'll never guess what? cavan level again.

It's another beauty from Niall Murray, his third score again.

  19. Full speed aheadpublished at 17:04 BST 2 June 2019

    Cavan 0-8 Armagh 0-8

Stefan Campbell becomes the slippery surface's first victim of the half but the experienced forward keeps his cool to find Paul Hughes who pops it over with little fuss.

Armagh will want to kick on from here, oh hang on. Cavan level inside a minute.

It's wonderful stuff from Dara McVeety who appears unperturbed by the special treatment he is receiving from Brendan Donaghy, he spins out of some heavy contact to fire over from distance.

Battle lines re-drawn, all the signs are pointing to this one going down to the wire.

  20. Extra time is possiblepublished at 17:02 BST 2 June 2019

    Cavan 0-7 Armagh 0-7

    John Casey
Former Mayo footballer on BBC Radio Ulster

"It's intriguing because of how close it is. We could be in here for the long haul and it might be close to 10 o'clock before I get home tonight!

"I think the black card decision for Padraig Faulkner was a harsh call because Niall Grimley was moving at speed and Faulkner couldn't really do anything else.

"It is still intriguing because of the match ups"
