  1. Looseness and slacknesspublished at 18:05 BST 2 June 2019

    Cavan 0-16 Armagh 1-13

    Enda McGinley
    Three-times All-Ireland winner with Tyrone

"It's all very untidy. There's an element of looseness and slackness at the moment and you get the sense that there are some very tired players out there making errors.

"You can imagine them sitting in the dressing rooms in their wet jerseys and seizing up a little as they waited to get back out there."

  2. Tension risingpublished at 18:04 BST 2 June 2019

    Cavan 0-16 Armagh 1-13

A scuffle between Andrew Murnin and Killian Clarke is broken up by eternal peacemaker James Morgan.

A yellow card is shown to both guilty parties as Rian O'Neill sends a free wide. Still awaiting out opening point of extra-time.

  3. Cavan look more likelypublished at 18:04 BST 2 June 2019

    Cavan 0-16 Armagh 1-13

    Enda McGinley
    Three-times All-Ireland winner with Tyrone

"I tipped Armagh at the start but if I could have that back I would say that Cavan look the more likely now. Nothing in it though."

  4. Error strewn openingpublished at 18:03 BST 2 June 2019

    Cavan 0-16 Armagh 1-13

Gearoid McKiernan gets offered the opportunity to put Cavan ahead with an easy free but it looks awfully unnatural as he strides up before sending an awkward looking shot wide from a relatively simple position.

Andrew Murnin does really well to keep Niall Grimley's long ball in play, it falls to Jamie Clarke who sends a low shot soccer style towards goal but it's not troubling Raymond Galligan.

Tired legs at the start of this one.

  5. A big hitpublished at 18:00 BST 2 June 2019

    Cavan 0-16 Armagh 1-13

A physical start to extra-time as the game begins then pauses again.

From the throw-in, Niall Grimley and Paul Graham are far more interested in stopping the other man getting the ball than they are getting it themselves.

They're not even looking at the ball as Jarly Og burns runs towards it, but straight into the back of his team-mate Grimley.

He's down and with a little bit of blood coming from the head, he's replaced.

  6. Cavan have done a lot rightpublished at 17:57 BST 2 June 2019

    Cavan 0-16 Armagh 1-13

    Paul Finlay
Former Monaghan player on Radio Ulster

"Armagh have already had to play extra time this year and that could count in their favour now.

"You'd have to say that Mickey Graham has got a lot of his match-ups right for Cavan today, those defensive match-ups have worked out for them and in general they've had the better of things in defence.

"For me, Cavan have also had the better of the Armagh kick outs too but the Cavan forward line have to start taking their chances."

  7. Can Armagh come to the well again?published at 17:57 BST 2 June 2019

    Cavan 0-16 Armagh 1-13

    John Haughey
    BBC Sport NI at Clones

Armagh were able to regroup from losing a seemingly match-winning lead in normal time against Down to win in extra-time but can they do it again today?

The amateur psychologist in me believes Cavan now probably hold the edge but who knows.

  8. Teams back outpublished at 17:57 BST 2 June 2019

    Cavan 0-16 Armagh 1-13

Armagh are the first to re-emerge with Cavan following about a minute later.

Two periods of extra-time to come and if we're still level after that then it'll be a replay.

  9. Orchard fans getting value for moneypublished at 17:52 BST 2 June 2019

"The match never really felt as over as it did in Newry, Cavan were always in this game. I suppose Armagh supporters are certainly getting their money's worth this summer.

"One concern for Armagh is that Jarlath Og Burns appeared to be cramping up a wee bit during the closing stages and he is a crucial player for them."

  10. Credit to Cavanpublished at 17:50 BST 2 June 2019

    Cavan 0-16 Armagh 1-13

    John Haughey
BBC Sport NI at St Tiernach's Park

    Huge credit to Cavan.

Despite Armagh's difficulties in holding leads, for all the world you had to believe that they were going to see this one out in normal time when Burns' goal was followed by O'Neill's free to put the Orchard men four ahead. But Cavan refused to bow to the seemingly inevitable and fought back with veteran Mackey landing those two stunning scores.

We go on into extra-time and both side will be back to 15-a-side after Brendan Donaghy's late dismissal for Armagh.

  11. Cavan's super subpublished at 17:45 BST 2 June 2019

    Cavan 0-16 Armagh 1-13

    Paul Finlay
Former Monaghan player on Radio Ulster

"Cian Mackey, what an introduction and what a second half he had.

"He kicked some massive scores for his side to drag Cavan back into that game and I'm sure that he'll have another big part to play in the extra 20 minutes.

  12. Another Ulster thrillerpublished at 17:45 BST 2 June 2019

    Cavan 0-16 Armagh 1-13

We hoped this game would be good. It is. It's really good.

So much tension and absolutely nothing between them.

Armagh looked to have seized control when Jarly Og Burns scored the game's only goal before Ciaran Brady was sent off.

But Cavan fought back, with substitute Cian Mackey stamping his influence on proceedings to take the game to extra-time.

  13. No one can pick a winnerpublished at 17:43 BST 2 June 2019

    Cavan 0-16 Armagh 1-13

    Enda McGinley

"The tension is just palpable within the ground. Everyone in the stands, on the pitch and on the sideline doesn't know how this one is going to end up.

"It's intriguing because you're expecting Armagh to push out with the spare man."

  14. Extra-time it ispublished at 17:42 BST 2 June 2019

    Cavan 0-16 Armagh 1-13

Armagh don't appear to like playing against 14 men with a lead. They couldn't keep it against Down two weeks ago and they've let Cavan fight back in Clones today.

They did, as Armagh fans will rightly point out, bounce back against Down to see out the win.

We have a contender for the most pointless red card of all time as Brendan Donaghy is sent off two seconds before the full-time whistle goes.

In fairness it's really nasty from Donaghy, dropping the knee on Killian Clarke.

Both sides will be back to 15 for extra-time though.

  15. Wide from Rehillpublished at 17:39 BST 2 June 2019

    Cavan 0-16 Armagh 1-13

Ethan Rafferty takes on a difficult shot and it drifts well wide.

We are into four minutes of additional time and it's Cavan in possession. They know the importance of keeping the ball and Armagh are hunting them down trying to stop forward progress.

Raymond Galligan is involved as they move into Armagh territory, looking for that perfect moment to take their shot.

It comes for Conor Rehill, there's near silence as the shot moves towards the posts and it's...wide!

    Are we headed for extra-time?

    Cavan 0-16 Armagh 1-13

    Enda McGinley
    Three-times All-Ireland winner with Tyrone

"It's just breathless here. Since 10 or 15 minutes into the first half it has seemed like we were going for extra time and now with just a few minutes to go it still looks that way.

"I certainly won't be complaining if we have some more of this!"

  17. Two minutes leftpublished at 17:35 BST 2 June 2019

A place in the Ulster final up for grabs. Who's going to take a chance?

    Cavan 0-16 Armagh 1-13

Rian O'Neill earns a free at the other end and Jamie Clarke steps up to take it off the ground.

Straightforward enough but given the situation, nerves can be understood.

No such issues for Clarke, over it goes and Armagh are back in front.

Not for long though! It's that man Mackey again this time from the right hand side, swinging it just inside the post.

This is going to be one hell of a finish!

  19. All squarepublished at 17:33 BST 2 June 2019

    Cavan 0-15 Armagh 1-12

Cian Mackey that's an outrageous point given the circumstances.

The 14 men are level, he jinks past several Armagh players in close proximity before sending a high effort over from distance.

The whole crowd in Clones hold their breathe as they await to see where the ball drops, it's over the black spot.

    Level.
