'MVP is back!' Michael 'Venom' Page beats Lima to avenge 2019 loss
Main event winner Michael 'Venom' Page Speaking to John McCarthy: I want to put on a show. I wanted a finish, but Lima is a tough man. I understand why he has been a champion three times.
"Even when I hit him with those big shots he kept coming and he adjusted.
On the result of the fight: "I was confident to be fair. I knew he was going for a takedown, I make all strikers into wrestlers.
On what is next: "Now I want that bling, I have come over, I got my redemption, now I want that bling.
On a near repeat ending of the first fight: "Fool me once! I got up with me eyes up. I saw that punch coming and you know I am good at slipping so I wasn't get caught again."
'No surprise' as Leah McCourt dominates Borga

I took more credit for Michael Page dropping Douglas Lima in the first, I had Page winning the second round but losing the third.

It is redemption for Michael Page after waiting two years to exact revenge on Douglas Lima for handing him his solitary pro career defeat.
"The one and only MVP is back!" he screams.
Page v Lima
Oh my that was close but MVP beats Douglas Lima via split decision (29-28, 28-29, 29-28).
'MVP is back!' Michael 'Venom' Page beats Lima to avenge 2019 loss
Page v Lima
Both fighters are strolling around the cage and believe they have won this.
It is taking a long time to get to a decision...
Page v Lima
Close fight, very close. A moment of magic or a lapse in concentration and it could go either way.
Page is keeping his distance early on but he is sent to the ground when Lima moves in and lands a left hand.
Page is on his back and on the defensive. He needs to get up but Lima keeps him down until the bell.

Former MMA referee on BBC iPlayer
Deja vu. It was close, the kick takes him down and the punch misses by inches this time.

Page v Lima
Page bounces around the cage as he waits for Lima to make a move. Lima attempts a kick, misses, attempts another, misses.
Page is then inches away from connecting with a strong overhand right but finds his target soon after to drop Lima.
Once again "MVP" is chanted around Wembley Arena. The home favourite's round.
John McCarthy
Former MMA referee on BBC iPlayer
There was a whole lot going on in this round. The first knockdown was Page running him over. But the second knockdown, the punch had some power to it.
Page v Lima
Page is taken down after attempting a spinning kick. The British fighter has some defending to do but manages to fend off Lima's attacks before the end of the round.
A strong start by Page but a strong finish by Lima.
What a start to this fight!
Page v Lima
"MVP, MVP, MVP" shout the home crowd at the start of the round, the chant turning to a roar as Douglas Lima is sent to the floor early on by a straight right.
Lima is up quickly, unhurt but confidence perhaps shaken. Another roar as Lima is sent down again but again he is up quickly.
One last roar from the crowd and we're under way!
Page v Lima
Image source, .That solitary L on the above record has played on Michael Page's mind for the last two years.
Time for revenge?
Page v Lima
Heck of an introduction for Michael Page as he emerges with grime artist Skepta, who has Wembley Arena absolutely bouncing.
MVP takes his time, playing the crowd and lapping up the applause before roaring as he enters the cage.
What an atmosphere!
Page v Lima
The lights dim, the crowd roars and Douglas Lima emerges.
If there's boos it is hard to hear them over the walkout music and Lima looks calm and confident as he strolls to the cage.
There is clearly an unwavering belief in his own ability, will it be justified tonight?
