We love the effort that the Cannons FC, external have gone to here. The FA People's Cup may be about getting involved and having a laugh, but there's nothing wrong with being prepared for the competition.

Although you've kind of given away your game play guys...

Here's another story about one of teams taking part today......

Ten years ago, Andy Merrett's daughter couldn't find a local football team to play for so she approached the a local team and told them if they set up a girls team her dad would run it. And now he does.

There are now 60-80 females across four age groups and, in an area where all the schools are single sex, the girls’ friendship circle has increased massively through team sport.

In 2014 - as under-16s - the team went on a trip to Spain to take part in the Costa Brava Cup, where they played teams from Real Madrid.

This is the first year as Milton United and, after Andy heard about the FA People’s Cup on Berkshire news, they've been in action at Goals Reading this morning.

Unlike the FA Cup there are NO replays in the FA People's Cup so your match might be decided on penalties - and we've already had some.

Here's Jay, the Stratford Town goalkeeper with the decisive penalty against Young Fire Old Flame in the under-16 competition last night at Goals Coventry.
