Sadio Mane chips it in from the left. Jordan Henderson flicks it on, Diogo Jota controls it, shoots and is denied brilliantly by Kasper Schmeichel but he's offside. A late flag again so we'll give credit to the keeper for that save - he didn't know Jota was offside.

Jordan Henderson is relentless in his pressing again, nipping in to take it off Luke Thomas just outside his own box.

Henderson is caught late by Thomas too, who swings and misses the ball. From the free-kick, Henderson volleys it miles over.

Liverpool are so dominant in possession. They're keeping it well, pressing high and bringing the full-backs in.

Leicester are trying to play out from the back, which Liverpool are making very difficult. They'd like a few more chances to get that opening goal as quickly as possible.

A Liverpool free-kick on the right doesn't come to much but the Leicester fans are starting to show their frustration. They are camped inside their half.

Christian Evans: Tsimikas is so good, he'd probably get into about 17 teams' first choice LB spot.

It's a really good ball from Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and it's curling in towards Kasper Schmeichel's bottom right corner.

Jordan Henderson tries to flick it on but he's stretching. It's awkward for Schmeichel and he just about pushes it away. It might have even touched the inside of the post!

Mohamed Salah is the first Liverpool player to miss a penalty in the Premier League since 28 October 2017, when Salah himself missed at home against Huddersfield Town (3-0 win).

Liverpool had scored their last 21 Premier League penalties, including the last nine by Salah.

Boubakary Soumare slides in to block a Jordan Henderson pass and he's getting some treatment.

Leicester fans are full of life now but the travelling Liverpool supporters respond with a chorus of "The Egyptian King".

Liverpool are on another attack with Kostas Tsimikas. Leicester can't get out of their half.

I don't know how it didn't go in. It looked as if the ball was hanging in the air for quite a bit.

It wasn't a great penalty to be fair, but unless something changes from Leicester a Liverpool goal will come at some point.

It's a definite penalty. Leicester are playing really narrow, which is really strange because a lot of Liverpool attacks are coming from wide positions.
