Coming in during the season and having to contend with the uncertainty of Coronavirus, Antonio Conte has done a fine job in his first few months at Tottenham in the Premier League.

He has picked up 14 points from his six games in charge with four wins and two draws.

Spurs are also scoring more goals and conceding fewer under the Italian.

  4. Tottenham's turnaroundpublished at 13:29 GMT 28 December 2021

Since Antonio Conte was named Tottenham boss on 2 November just two teams have gone unbeaten in the Premier League - Spurs and leaders Manchester City.

The turnaround has been quite impressive under the Italian, who has taken them from ninth and in danger of a mid-table finish to on the cusp of the top four.

They are currently fifth, six points off fourth but have three games in hand on three of four sides above them.

A win against Southampton today will set them up nicely for a strong challenge for Champions League football in the new year.
