Crystal Palace 0-1 Man Utd
Will these missed chances come back to haunt United like they did on Monday?
A pacy break from the visitors sees Marcus Rashford pick out Bruno Fernandes in the box, the Portuguese is free and has time but smacks his first-time strike against the post.

Neil Bushell: It's not VAR thats the problem. Its the incompetent idiots who have never played the game running it. VAR was supposed to take disputes out the game and make sure we get the right conclusion. Theres more confusion now than ever. Keep VAR. Get ex players running it.
How can being a toenail length ahead of the last defender be seen as giving an advantage to the attacking player? It just makes no sense. Tragic for Palace!

Southampton 1-1 Brighton
Goodness me, what a hit from Jannick Vestergaard, taking range from around 30 yards out with a smasher that is arrowing towards the top corner, but Brighton goalkeeper Mat Ryan flies through the air to tip the ball onto the crossbar.
Save of the season for me.
Crystal Palace 0-1 Man Utd
Palace change, James McArthur makes way for Jeff Schlupp.
Crystal Palace 0-1 Man Utd
Bruno Fernandes has a go from the edge of the box but screws a left-footed shot wide.

The Palace passing has been very sharp, very crisp, they look really at it. But I think the story of their season is the final third; they want someone, they need someone just to tap it in, to put it in the back of the net.
Crystal Palace 0-1 Man Utd
Palace boss Roy Hodgson is absolutely vexed and is having a right go at the officials during the drinks break.
Think he has a point.
Danny Ings
This time they do convert.
Nathan Redmond spots the run of Danny Ings and the Englishman closes in on Mat Ryan, there is always going to be one outcome, as Ings slips a cool finish low into the corner.
20 for the season for Ings.
Crystal Palace 0-1 Man Utd
Why didn't he shoot??
Palace slice United open at the back again, James McArthur is in a great position inside the box and instead of having a go at goal, is looking for Jordan Ayew at the far post and plonks the ball out of play.
Crystal Palace 0-1 Man Utd
Seven goals which were originally awarded against Manchester United have been overturned by VAR this season, the joint-most of any side in the Premier League this campaign (also Southampton and Brighton).

Matt: Offside is offside, my friend. Doesn't matter how long they take.
Nathan: The problem with VAR is it's treating a goal like a serve in tennis. but one is far more significant than the other. You can't disallow a goal by that margin and I'm a United fan.
Crystal Palace 0-1 Man Utd
Couple of changes for United.
Jesse Lingard and Nemanja Matic enter the action for Mason Greenwood and Scott McTominay.

VAR should be fined for bringing the game into disrepute. Absolutely pathetic how it's run.
David Ashworth.
VAR doing everything it can to give United the 3 points today. Palace should be 2 - 1 up. Injustice.

Crystal Palace 0-1 Man Utd
United's two in-form men link up again.
Anthony Martial with the dart forward, feeding Marcus Rashford to his left but the England international's shot is easy for Vicente Guaita to gather.

Charlie: If the VAR in charge of the Palace/United game spent as long doing fractions for the Lindelof tackle as they did the Ayew toe then Palace would have had a penalty! Ridiculous!
If VAR cannot overturn a penalty decision because it's not clear and obvious, how can they overturn a goal that is only a toenail offside? Clear and obvious? I don't think so.

Crystal Palace 0-1 Man Utd
Palace keep on coming.
James McCarthy lays the ball off for James McArthur, but the low driller from 20 yards out is gathered low down by David de Gea.
Body behind the ball.
Southampton 0-1 Brighton
Inches from the equaliser, but Danny Ings' curling shot cannons off the post.
The follow up from Che Adams looks to be heading in but is cleared off the line by a Brighton man.

Wonderful play from Zaha. We know Wan-Bissaka is a good defender but he's been left isolated and Zaha has had the better of him. Palace deserve to be back in the game but that's a shame.
Crystal Palace 0-1 Man Utd
Ridiculous.
The game is gone, my friends.
Jordan Ayew's small toe is adjudged to be offside, they had to draw line after line to look at that.
It took them over two minutes to come to that decision.
If it takes that long, how can they chalk it off?
Jordan Ayew shakes his head and rightly so.
