    Motherwell 4-4 St Mirren

It's a long time since St Mirren have had a shot and, when they do, Junior Morias' effort is straight at goalkeeper Mark Gillespie. At least it is a sign of life for the visitors.

    Motherwell 4-4 St Mirren

It is all Motherwell pressure at the moment.

Who would have thought they would still be in the tie, never mind looking the more likely winners, when they trailed 4-1 at half-time of normal time?

    Motherwell 4-4 St Mirren

  5. HALF-TIME EXTRA-TIMEpublished at 21:57 GMT 18 February 2020

    Motherwell 4-4 St Mirren

It's calmed down a bit in extra-time. Who can lift themselves for the final push in the final 15 minutes?

The bodies are a bit tired out there. Who wants a Scottish Cup quarter-final place most? Or will a stroke of luck or penalties settle it?

It's a fantastic block from Jake Carroll. He really threw himself in front of it and clearly caught the shot that was definitely on target

    Motherwell 4-4 St Mirren

St Mirren haven't been seen much as an attacking force in extra-time, but Jake Carroll does well to block a Jamie McGrath shot that would have otherwise been on target.

  8. McAllister for Foleypublished at 103mins

    Motherwell 4-4 St Mirren

St Mirren also make a change as Kyle McAllister replaces tiring captain Sam Foley, with Cammy MacPherson taking the armband.

  9. Manzinga for Maciverpublished at 21:53 GMT 18 February 2020

    Motherwell 4-4 St Mirren

St Mirren goalkeeper Vaclav Hladky has to scoop wide from a Jermaine Hylton drive.

Well are still looking the more likely to win this one.

  11. YELLOW CARD Aarons (St Mirren)published at 98mins

    Motherwell 4-4 St Mirren

A cynical foul for Rolando Aarons results in a booking as he takes out Sam Foley as the St Mirren midfielder looked to break.

    Quote Message

St Mirren were shocked. They didn't cope with the change in formation from Motherwell and tried to sit in and contain them and it clearly didn't work for them. What did work for them in the first half was attacking football

  13. Andreu for Durmuspublished at 97mins

    Motherwell 4-4 St Mirren

Turkish midfielder Ilkay Durmus had an influence early on but has drifted out of the game and tired.

So it's no surprise that he is replaced with Tony Andreu.

I did not see that coming at half time. You have to credit Motherwell for the change in shape and the team for coming back into it. They have been the complete opposite to their performance in the first half

  17. FULL-TIME Motherwell 4-4 St Mirrenpublished at 21:36 GMT 18 February 2020

    Extra-time to be played

Would you believe it? St Mirren were looking certainties for the quarter-finals after leading 4-1 at half-time.

But a deflected goal and two wayward crosses have brought Well back into the game and, while there was fortune in their favour, they fully deserve it for their second-half performance and they could have won it in normal time.

Now we are into extra-time to decide who progresses.

If it goes into extra-time, St Mirren have a couple of substitutions up their sleeve and Motherwell don't. As good as Jonathan Obika has been, he's beginning to look tired. His movement is nowhere near as good as it was in the first half
