Rangers have shredded Hibs in this first 45 minutes - absolutely shredded them. Ofir Marciano's awful error gave Ryan Kent a gift of a goal with less than four minutes gone. Four minutes later, Joe Aribo steered home a real cracker.
They've had numerous chances to add to their lead, Aribo and James Tavernier coming closest to making it 3-0.
Hibs and Jack Ross need to change something or they're staring at an absolute horsing. They'll be mightily relieved to get up the tunnel only two goals behind.

A foul by Lewis Stevenson yields the first yellow card of the night for the Hibs left-back. Jason Naismith gets his name taken barely a minute later. The full-backs have been up against it tonight as Rangers stretch the hosts and their diamond midfield pattern looks more like a crushed parallelogram.

Rangers are like a prizefighter toying with a wounded quarry. At any moment, you sense they could cock a right hand and deliver a knockout punch. They're weaving and slaloming around the Hibs box, hopelessly bamboozling the home defence.
James Tavernier gets on the end of a precise cross from the left and his header is well held by Ofir Marciano. It's one-way traffic.

Wow. You will not see a better cross this season than the curling beauty James Tavernier has just whipped across the Hibs goal. Sensational delivery from the Rangers captain out wide on the right, rifling through the space between defenders and goalkeeper.

Finally, something to rouse the Hibs fans. Martin Boyle latches on to a long ball, and goes at the Rangers defence.
His vicious low drive is brilliantly tipped wide by Allan McGregor. Even better for the Rangers stopper, the officials don't notice his crucial touch on the ball and the visitors have a goal kick instead of defending a corner.
