Celtic 1-0 Ross County
Blair Spittal could have released a dangerous County counter-attack there but is slack with the ball and plays it straight into Jeremie Frimpong's feet. Celtic were pushing men forward and had few defenders back, but Spittal gets it all wrong and the away side continue to struggle in possession.
Ayr draw level against the run of play at East End Park after a goalmouth scramble and with the scorer unclear.

Callum McGregor hits the County post after a great counter-attack. County's Josh Mullin has half a yard at the other end of the pitch but is unable to get his shot away and Celtic win the ball back, hitting the visitors on the counter with slick one-touch passing. Another warning sign for the visitors.

Quite how Celtic are only one goal in front is beyond me. They are so far on top in this match, but Ross Laidlaw has been excellent in the County goal and, when he’s been beaten, Richard Foster has popped up on the line twice to clear the danger. But a second Celtic goal looks inevitable.

Matty Kennedy should really have put St Johnstone in front there. The ball ricochets to the winger after Danny Swanson's shot is blocked, but he slides his drive past the post.

Another corner for Celtic and another chance - Odsonne Edouard is unmarked round the back, but the ball hits off his shin to go wide. Another warning for County as Edouard is able to peel away at the back post from Mohamed Elyounoussi's corner - and the French striker maybe should do better.
