Twice in almost as many weeks I've been here that I've seen that from Andre Gray.

The keeper couldn't do anything about it.

But that could be the goal that takes them to the semi-final.

It's a super ball from Pereyra, all Gray had to do was make semi-contact with the ball. But he is fortunate with the touch.

  12. goal

GOAL Watford 2-1 Crystal Palacepublished at 79 mins

    Andre Gray

He's been on the pitch for about three minutes, and Andre Gray could have put Watford into the semis!

A great run and pass from Roberto Pereya finds the sub inside the area, he stretches and gets enough on the ball to divert the ball firmly past Guaita.

  14. Postpublished at 73 mins

  15. Postpublished at 72 mins

    Watford 1-1 Crystal Palace

Michy Batshuayi is all over this like a cheap suit right now - feeding Max Meyer after a lovely piece of skill on the right, but his team mate fluffs his lines badly, pulling his shot and mis-hitting it completely when about 10 yards from goal.

  16. Postpublished at 70 mins

    Watford 1-1 Crystal Palace

With so much at stake, and with everything decided today, it's understandable that game has gone into a bit of a lull. Certainly, Watford do not look like the side they were in the first half.

  19. Postpublished at 64 mins

    Watford 1-1 Crystal Palace

Palace had been much better since the break, but even so that feels like a shock as Watford had been so comfortable beforehand.

The hosts have perked up since the goal, but it's the Palace fans making all the noise right now.

  20. A composed finishpublished at 13:40 GMT 16 March 2019

Mariappa with a ridiculous attempt to play the ball, just play your lines!

Michy Batshuayi was smart enough to take advantage and the defender was then too far away to even think about making a challenge.

It's a composed finish and it is easy to fluff your lines from there.
