    England 0-0 Brazil

Marta has just absolutely rinsed England's Nikita Parris with a sly turn and pivot on the ball. She's such a class player. Her six Player of the Year awards will tell you that.

England haven't really found their groove yet. It was a good opening few minutes for the Lionesses, but now they're looking a bit rusty.

    England 0-0 Brazil

Adriana skims the ball wide of the post after controlling it well on her slim frame but it doesn't really trouble Carly Telford.

We've got a break in play as Ludmila has pulled up injured without being tackled. It may be that the Brazil forward can't continue. She's limping quite badly.

FYI - you can make six substitutions in the SheBelieves Cup. Phil Neville said earlier he intends to use all of them.

    England 0-0 Brazil

Our pundits were saying before the game that Carly Telford is a great shot-stopper.

England's keeper of choice today is flung into action to punch away a Brazil corner with some vigor.

It's a really disappointing turn-out at the Talen Energy Stadium. Perhaps the sub-zero temperatures have put people off.

You imagine the crowd will be a lot busier for the USA's game with England on Saturday.

Great start from England, Parris and Bronze will really link up well – they have a great understanding.

England will want to start on the front foot and show great energy, just as Phil Neville said.

    England 0-0 Brazil

Alex Greenwood is bundled over in her own box by Ludmila.

The Brazil forward immediately helps her opponent to her feet and England earn the free-kick.

    England 0-0 Brazil

Lucy Bronze latches on to a decent through-ball from England team-mate Nikita Parris, and Fran Kirby is waiting in the middle of the box but the ball is knocked out for a corner.

It's whipped in from Karen Carney and Brazil keeper Aline rises like a salmon to punch away the danger.

Former England forward on BBC 4

England go into this fourth in the world, they go into these games believing they can win, and maybe they have not done that in the past.

    Alex Scott
Ex-Arsenal Ladies & England international on BBC 4

I love playing this tournament, you are up against the best teams, it replicates a tournament and you learn lessons playing against these sorts of teams. And you want to start building a team to the World Cup.

The players are shivering in the tunnel! That's not a good sign.

The two teams walk out on to a freezing cold pitch in Chester, Philadelphia. There's a few fireworks going off before the national anthems.

  13. The thoughts behind the choice of goalkeeper...published at 20:54 GMT 27 February 2019

    England v Brazil (21:00 GMT)

England head coach Phil Neville: "With regards to playing Carly, what I was looking at was all three keepers have different attributes, and Carly plays well coming off her line so she plays tonight.

"You like to think the cold will suit the English! I am asking for a lot of intensity, a lot of pressing, and we can use six subs. I will use them tonight because I’ve got three that will need a rest after an hour and a few on the bench that will need to play."

    Talking of Millie Bright...

We've signed her up as a BBC Sport columnist. Her first one is a cracker. You can read it here.

The Chelsea defender misses out on the trip to the SheBelieves because of a slight injury, but she's expected to be a part of Phil Neville's squad in France in June.

    Rachel Brown-Finnis
Ex-England goalkeeper on BBC Radio 5 live

This is a really positive test [for England]. We don't often get to play teams outside of Europe.

The USA are the top team. To win the World Cup, we'll need to beat the USA.

Brazil are a very creative team - Marta is a world superstar. Japan are a very technical team, they're relatively short in stature and keep the ball on the ground. They're a beautiful team to watch.

Tactically all three teams offer very different tests. I think Phil Neville will have to shuffle his pack and play different formations.

  18. England under Nevillepublished at 20:42 GMT 27 February 2019

    England v Brazil (21:00 GMT)

It was this time last year that Phil Neville, a former England defender himself, took over the women's team and guided them to a 4-1 win against France in the SheBelieves Cup opener.

Since then they've lost only twice in 11 matches, winning six and drawing three.

Now it's crunch time, with the World Cup coming up in June.

"It’s now the results business, we are getting down to the final 100 metres before the finish line of going to a World Cup," Neville said on BBC Radio 4 earlier today.

"There are many things we need to focus on, we are at a tournament where we are playing the best teams in the world so it’s important now I see the level of where my team are at, that we iron out any types of weaknesses before we go to the tournament in June.

"It’s almost like a pre-World Cup dummy run with the amount of games, the standards of games we are playing in good stadiums and the pressure and expectations of these games."

  19. What is the SheBelieves Cup?published at 20:39 GMT 27 February 2019

    England v Brazil (21:00 GMT)

In case this is your first experience of SheBelieves fever, here's what you need to know.

The four-team round-robin tournament first took place in 2016 as part of US Soccer's #SheBelieves campaign, which aims to inspire women and girls - both inside and outside of sport.

It used to be the top four Fifa ranked countries who took part, but France and Germany have been replaced by Brazil and Japan this year. They join hosts USA and England.

USA are defending champions and two-time winners. France are the only other side to have lifted it.

    England v Brazil (21:00 GMT)

Toni Duggan is suffering a bit of jetlag so that might be why she's not starting for England against Brazil.

High winds were causing all sorts of problems to flights in and out of Philadelphia and the Barcelona midfielder was caught up in it.
