  1. KICK-OFFpublished at 46 mins

    Scotland 2-1 Israel

We're up and running again. No changes in personnel.

How does Alex McLeish approach the second half? Sit back and protect the lead or go for the kill with a third goal?

Israel will need to go for it and that should leave more room for speedy wingers James Forrest and Ryan Fraser to exploit.

The game remains finely balanced. Cool heads and commitment will be required out there.

There was no sign of this turnaround 20 minutes into the game. Scotland were second best and looked more likely to concede again than to get back into the game.

But credit to Alex McLeish and his players - they have lifted their performance and are now on course for Nations League promotion and a Euro 2020 play-off semi-final.

Still some way to go mind!

  5. Comeback wins rare for Scotlandpublished at 20:37 GMT 20 November 2018

    HT: Scotland 2-1 Israel

We're certainly not counting our chickens yet, but it's been a while since Scotland came from behind to win a game.

The last win from a losing position came in a 3-1 friendly against Australia at Easter Road in 2012.

The Scots last overturned a deficit to win at Hampden against Liechtenstein in 2010.

  6. HALF-TIME Scotland 2-1 Israelpublished at 45 mins

It was all looking a bit grim when Beram Kayal fired the visitors in front but a double from James Forrest has Scotland in the driving seat.

If it stays like this, Alex McLeish's side will top the group.

It's incredible, James Forrest shows composure again to slot it home. It's Christie's run though and Fletcher's flick-on. To look up and pick out James Forrest, fantastic goal.

  8. goal

GOAL Scotland 2-1 Israelpublished at 42 mins

    James Forrest

    He's done it again!

Ryan Christie races on to a Steven Fletcher flick-on and does well to hook a cross into the path of his Celtic team-mate James Forrest. The winger takes a sweet first touch and drills a confident shot low into the same corner of the net as his first.

What a difference a goal makes! The crowd is right behind the Scotland team now and the men in blue have their tails up. Stuart Armstrong has been the catalyst, driving Scotland forward and they are definitely the team in the ascendancy.

Scotland midfielder Callum McGregor is the first player cautioned for a late barge on Moanes Dabbur near the halfway line.

It's going to be difficult. When a team get their nose in front, they get the first goal and they can go into that shape. Everybody is behind the ball. Scotland need to be brave and take the ball in tight areas.
