Aleksandar Kolarov has a mean cross on him usually but he gets this one all wrong, hitting the ball straight out of play. Hand up in apology. Pretty low-key start at the Etihad, to be honest.
Mangala gives away a free-kick for a clumsy challenge on Djuricic, but Jose Fonte can only get a glancing contact on Steven Davis's set-piece delivery and the chance is gone.
Patient build-up by Manchester City on the edge of the area eventually earns them a corner when James Milner is tackled on the byline. The set piece comes to nothing though as Toby Alderweireld gets down well to block Milner's low centre.
Sadio Mane chases after a long ball, but gives away a free-kick for a shove on Pablo Zabaleta. Unnecessary.
You didn't think he'd keep his cards in his pocket on his final Premier League appearance, did you? Chris Foy takes three minutes to make his mark, booking Martin Demichelis for a late challenge on Filip Djuricic.
Southampton win a corner inside the opening 30 seconds, but it's well headed away by the giant figure of Eliaquim Mangala.
We're underway...
It's also the Premier League swansong for referee Chris Foy, who is officiating his final top-flight match at the age of 52.
Bet he's hoping for a quiet afternoon.
A handshake for the departing Frank Lampard from one of the mascots in the tunnel. Nicely formal.
For Manchester City, by contrast, it's been a season of disappointment - they've failed to mount a convincing defence of their Premier League title.
They are almost guaranteed to finish the season as top scorers in the league for the third time in the last four seasons, but it's defensive weaknesses that have cost them dear.
Plenty of question marks hang over the Etihad today - we know Frank Lampard will be departing but could this also be a farewell appearance for Yaya Toure, James Milner or even Manuel Pellegrini?
If any team deserves to finish this Premier League on a high, it's surely Southampton, who have confounded expectations under Ronald Koeman this term.
Saints were tipped for relegation by many after losing five of their star players over the summer, including Luke Shaw and Adam Lallana, but they've bounced back superbly, thanks to an impressive defence superbly marshalled by Jose Fonte, allied to the goals of new recruits Sadio Mane and Graziano Pelle.
Can they upset the odds one last time this afternoon?

Paulo Gazzaniga and James Ward-Prowse drop out of the Saints line-up, replaced by Kelvin Davis and Filip Djuricic.
Man City XI: Hart, Zabaleta, Demichelis, Mangala, Kolarov, Fernandinho, Milner, Lampard, Toure, Silva, Aguero.
Southampton XI: K. Davis, Clyne, Fonte, Alderweireld, Bertrand, Wanyama, S. Davis, Djuricic, Mané, Long, Pelle.
Hello and welcome to live text commentary of Manchester City v Southampton at the Etihad.
Manchester City are secure in second place but it could be an important final match for Ronald Koeman's visitors - if they can take something from this game, they will clinch a place in next season's Europa League.
Image source, Getty ImagesAfter 608 games, it's time to bid farewell to arguably the greatest midfielder of the Premier League era.
It's not the way Frank Lampard would have wanted to bow out, with little left to play for for Manchester City, but it will still be a proud moment as he takes the armband for Manuel Pellegrini's side.
Will he enjoy a victorious send-off? Well, Southampton will be determined to spoil the party, and with confidence high following a 6-1 thrashing of Aston Villa, they could well do just that.
