    Netball - Scotland 4-7 Jamaica

Jamaica's defence has been excellent so far, Scotland are struggling to create any opportunities.

The Sunshine Girls have opened up a lead but Scotland are defending ruggedly as well and two quick goals bring them back to within three.

I mentioned two crucial games in the netball and it's Scotland in action first as they take on Jamaica.

Having suffered a heavy loss to New Zealand in their opening game, Scotland have responded with back-to-back wins to give themselves hope of progressing from Pool B.

Goal-attack Cerys Cairns scored 50 goals in the win over Trinidad and Tobago and will need to be in similarly clinical form if the Thistles are to have any chance of upsetting a Jamaica side ranked fourth in the world.

Still in the early stages and it's been tight so far but after Jamaica scored a couple of quick goals, there is a huge roar as Scotland get on the scoreboard.

It's day six of the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow and there are 26 gold medals to be won before the day is through!

There are the finals of both 3x3 basketball formats, while the men's 200m freestyle will see a home nations showdown in the pool - albeit missing Scotland's Duncan Scott.

Meanwhile, in the athletics later, Northern Ireland's Kate O'Connor and Jade O'Dowda of England battle for gold as the heptathlon concludes.

First up for us today, though, it's netball with Scotland and England both facing must-win games.
