Eoin Morgan and Alex Hales remain "very much part of the group" despite not touring Bangladesh, says stand-in England one-day captain Jos Buttler.

Captain Morgan and Hales made themselves unavailable for October's trip because of security concerns.

No international side has toured Bangladesh since 20 people were killed in a siege at a cafe in Dhaka in July.

"We're a tight-knit bunch of guys and we will remain that way," wicketkeeper Buttler, 26, told BBC Sport.

Next year it will stand alone and involve six teams from three different continents - England, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and Papua New Guinea.

Kyrgios returns to Davis Cup foldpublished at 09:56

    Tennis

What makes for Davis Cup success? In Great Britain's case last year, one of the world's best players and tight team harmony.

Australia have their talisman back in the fold after Nick Kyrgios pledged his commitment to the team ahead of their World Group play-off against Slovakia.

But there is the potential of plenty of combustibility with the world number 15 and Bernard Tomic in the same team.

Neither man competed at Rio 2016 after falling out with Australia's team chef de mission Kitty Chiller. And they famously fell out with each other earlier this year.

All is well now though, apparently. Which is good news for Aussie captain/referee Lleyton Hewitt...

Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Fantastic Mr Fox. The BFG... Roald Dahl's classic books were - and still are - the literary accompaniment to millions of childhoods.

So to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the popular Welsh author's birth, we want you to channel your Dahlesque creativity.

How? With Dahl-inspired story titles about your club or favourite player, of course. But we don't want to see any "Per Mertesacker as the BFG" suggestions. You can do better than that...

Or, with Dahl words - including Oompa Loompa, scrumdiddlyumptious, witching hour, human bean and golden ticket - entering the Oxford Dictionary, we also want your suggestions for which made-up sporting jargon could also become a bona fide part of the English lexicon.

For example, 'Cellinoed'. Definition? Employment of a volatile, and usually short-term, nature.
