One of the biggest stars in women's football has talked about her former addiction to alcohol and prescribed drugs.
Abby Wambach, who scored a world record 184 goals for the US team, said her arrest in April for driving under the influence was a wake-up call.
"I was stubborn and I was in denial," she told the Associated Press.

Now he has gone back to the classroom in order to move into the boardroom.
The 55-year-old Yorkshireman, who was sacked by Newcastle in March, has recently enrolled at Manchester Metropolitan University to gain a Masters degree in Sporting Directorship.
"The next step in the future will be as a chief executive or sporting director, or even running my own club," he says.
"To do that I had to acquire different skills and go back to school. It's probably old age. I always wanted to coach and manage. I know that won't last forever."

Newly-crowned world number one Angelique Kerber says she has nothing left to prove after winning the US Open, her second grand slam this year.
The German has also won silver at the Olympics and reached the Wimbledon final.
She beat Katerina Pliskova to win the final Grand Slam of the year in New York to add to her Australian Open title.
The 28-year-old said: "I don't have anything to prove anymore. I am at the top, number one. I waited for this moment all my life."

The Scottish champions face the Spanish giants in their first group match, but Rodgers insists it is not a "free game" given the low expectations on his side.
"We understand the difficulty," said the Northern Irishman. "We want to enjoy it, but we want to get a result."
