My cat, Zayd, has decided to come into the room and say hi. He's two seconds away from jumping onto my laptop.

Anyways, everyone has the soft tyres bolted on, apart from the two Aston Martins and Sergio Perez.

McLaren in recent history have been very good when it comes to upgrades and progressing their car for the year.

The same can't be said for the past decade with Ferrari. There's been times where they've started the season with one of if not the fastest car and have gone backwards with the competition.

I'm interested to see how the upgrades develop in the Ferrari camp and if they continue to chip away at Mercedes and McLaren.

Antonelli for pole. He's the driver in form and Mercedes still the team to beat.

I think pole for Kimi today, but would love to see Lewis up there again!

Oscar Piastri for pole followed by some thousandths by Antonelli.

George Russell has turned up to the paddock in an England football shirt. He seems ready for the last Group L game tonight!

Luckily for our five Brit drivers, the England's match against Panama will take place after we have wrapped up with qualifying.

Can it be a good weekend overall for the country with a Brit taking the top of the podium after Sunday's race?

George Russell, Lewis Hamilton, Lando Norris, Lance Stroll, Fernando Alonso and Valtteri Bottas have all set out on to the circuit.

It is going to get busy now.

I'm thinking a Mercedes front row lock out tomorrow, Kimi, George then the two Ferraris, Lewis and Charles.

Part of me thinks that it's the beginning of Cadillac's journey in Formula 1 and they've been quietly going about their business.

They've been finishing races which is positive. By the end of the year though they need to have scored some points, that has to be their goal.

They have to finish in the top 10 at some point to say it's been a success.

It's not a done deal yet that Mercedes and McLaren are going to be fastest. Ferrari could pull some pace out of the bag.

But right now McLaren and Mercedes look quicker.
