    Hartlepool United have signed forward Tyrese Sinclair from fellow National League side York City on loan for the rest of the season.

    The 24-year-old joined York from Rochdale in 2024 and has made 60 appearances in all competitions for the club.

    He has spent time on loan with Solihull Moors on loan this term, turning out 10 times for the club and scoring three goals.

    "We would all like to wish Ty the very best of luck whilst at Hartlepool," York City said in a statement.

    Gateshead forward Frank Nouble has joined the National League club's first-team coaching staff after having his playing contract cancelled by mutual consent.

    The 34-year-old joined The Heed from Yeovil Town in March 2025, scoring three goals in 35 appearances in all competitions.

    Nouble, whose career includes spells with West Ham United and Ipswich Town, has signed to play for Spennymoor Town in National League North alongside his new coaching duties at Gateshead.

    Halifax have signed Oldham winger Kieron Morris on loan until the end of the season.

    The 31-year-old joined the Latics from Tranmere in the summer but has not featured since a 6-2 defeat by Bolton in the EFL Trophy on 11 November.

    He went straight into the Shaymen's side for their National League Cup game against Tamworth on Tuesday.

    Hartlepool United have re-signed midfielder Gavan Holohan on a deal until the end of the season.

    The 34-year-old ended his contract with League Two strugglers Crawley Town to return to the Teesside outfit.

    He could feature in Saturday's National League game at home to Aldershot.

    Boss Nicky Featherstone told the club website:, external "He was a real crowd favourite here, and I know the fans will be delighted to welcome him back."

    Sutton United have signed Hartlepool United's Grenada international winger Jermaine Francis for an undisclosed fee.

    The 23-year-old, who has won 15 international caps for the Caribbean nation, is the 10th new player to join the club since Chris Agutter took over as head coach in October.

    Francis, who has also had spells at Braintree and Chelmsford, scored three goals in 22 National League appearances for Hartlepool after joining them last summer.

    "I know a lot about the club, about the manager as well, the players, I know the manager and how he plays and that excites me," he told the Sutton website.

  6. Boreham Wood recall Ashmore and Henry from loanspublished at 13:30 GMT 27 January

    Boreham Wood have recalled goalkeeper Nathan Ashmore and midfielder Aaron Henry from loan spells with other clubs.

    Ashmore made 15 appearances for Southern League Premier Central side Bedford Town, while Henry scored once in nine games for National League South leaders Hornchurch.

    Boreham Wood are third in the National League, six points behind leaders York City.

    National League side Brackley Town have signed Oldham Athletic forward Kian Harratt on loan until the end of the season.

    The 23-year-old has scored 16 goals from a total of 106 appearances in the English Football League and National League - although only 32 of those have been starts.

    Saints boss Gavin Cowan told the club website, external he was a long-time admirer of Harratt, who scored the winning goal for the Latics in their National League promotion final against Southend United in June 2025.

    "Kian suits our style and will undoubtedly bring a real high level of quality to the team," Cowan added. "We're really excited to have him."

    Harratt started his career at Huddersfield Town and has spent time on loan with Harrogate, Guiseley, Port Vale, Bradford City and Fleetwood Town. He joined League Two Oldham from Fleetwood in March 2025.

    Tamworth have re-signed forward Dan Creaney on a free transfer from Solihull Moors.

    He was a prolific scorer in his first spell at The Lamb Ground from 2023 to the summer of 2025 and returned in November for an eight-match loan spell.

    "I have been trying to get Dan back ever since his loan period ended in December," said manager Andy Peaks.

    "This is an 18-month deal so we are really pleased that we have Dan committed for next season too."

    Tamworth are 13th in National League and at home to Sutton United on Saturday.

    Forest Green Rovers have signed right-back Jay Mingi on loan from League One side Stockport County for the rest of the season.

    The 25-year-old, who can also play as a winger, has spent the first part of this campaign on loan with Crewe, making nine appearances.

    "Dynamism, power pace, great individual, met him yesterday and he fits right into our group," manager Robbie Savage told BBC Radio Gloucestershire.

    "Wants to get better, wants to play football, he will add so much to our team on the defensive side but also in the attacking sense."

  10. Gateshead sign Sunderland winger Moore on loanpublished at 17:23 GMT 23 January

    Gateshead have signed winger Ethan Moore on loan from Premier League side Sunderland until the end of the season.

    The 21-year-old recently made his return to football having spent two years out with a serious knee injury.

    He joins Gateshead having played against them earlier this season in the National League Cup for Sunderland.
