    Southampton make it two wins from two under Tonda Eckert.

    Goals from Caspar Jander and Finn Azaz gave the hosts a 2-0 lead before Harry Amass hit back for the visitors.

    Adam Armstrong reopened his side's two-goal lead two minutes after the break.

    Wednesday fought until the end but were unable to find their way back into the game.

    A precious three points for West Brom and Ryan Mason.

    Mutiny was in the air at The Hawthorns after seven halves of football without a Baggies goal when former Albion loanee Will Lankshear out lowly Oxford United ahead on the break, but an instant response, an unfortunate own-goal from Greg Leigh and Aune Heggebo's thumping header turned the game on its head.

    Back-to-back 4-1 wins on the road for Ipswich, and a nightmare for former Town defender Cameron Burgess who scored two own-goals.

    Jack Clarke's solo goal before the break put Town on the way but Goncalo Franco found the corner on 50 minutes to leave the game in the balance.

    However two deflections from Burgess, from balls from Leif Davis and Jens Cajuste, either side of Ivan Azon's first Town goal with a close-range header, sealed the points for the visitors who are firmly looking up the table.
