    Motherwell 0-0 Hearts

Former Hearts forward on BBC Sportsound

Now we're talking, now it's the game we were all hoping for.

Good play from Hearts, the first time in the game they've got it wide.

It's a good shot, maybe a slight deflection, but how many times do you see those going into the bottom corner?

  2. CLOSE!published at 16:10 GMT 29 November 2025

    Motherwell 0-0 Hearts

A massive chance for Motherwell goes begging.

Tawanda Maswanhise picks out a great run from Elijah Just at the back post, but the New Zealand winger heads straight at goalkeeper Alexander Schwolow.

  3. Postpublished at 16:09 GMT 29 November 2025

    Dundee 2-1 St Mirren

    Decent chance for Dundee!

Tony Yogane spins his man and hangs up a cross to the back post, but Cameron Congreve's header is awkward and bounces harmlessly past the post.

    Motherwell 0-0 Hearts

Alexandros Kyziridis twists and turns on the edge of the Motherwell box and gets his shot away - it goes just wide after taking a deflection.

Motherwell goalkeeper Calum Ward was stranded.

    Dundee 2-1 St Mirren

It's St Mirren who create the first chance of the second half with Scott Tanser whipping a really dangerous ball across goal.

Drey Wright is the closest man to it and does well to hook it clear.

  11. Will Hearts change flow of game?published at 16:05 GMT 29 November 2025

    HT: Motherwell 0-0 Hearts

    Ryan Stevenson
Former Hearts forward on BBC Sportsound

Motherwell have dominated possession at a canter. This is such a big game, Hearts need to get something out of it.

Motherwell have been playing excellent football. Can Hearts get back to basics?

  12. KICK-OFFpublished at 16:04 GMT 29 November 2025

We're off again at Fir Park.

Hearts must surely improve in the second half if they are to prove that are genuine title contenders.

They're a little behind at Dens Park.

  14. What a turnaroundpublished at 15:57 GMT 29 November 2025

    HT: Dundee 2-1 St Mirren

    Martin Dowden
BBC Sport Scotland at Dens Park

I can't say I saw this coming when St Mirren went ahead, but all credit to Steven Pressley's side.

They have shown real character to get an instant response and now hold a crucial lead with Drey Wright's strike showing a degree of confidence in taking that on. They're now in a great position.

St Mirren will be kicking themselves. Once again, they've had chances, but they don't take enough of them. It's cost them so far.

At the back, the nature of the goals they've conceded will be a real source of frustration. A theme for them.

  16. HALF-TIME Dundee 2-1 St Mirrenpublished at 15:50 GMT 29 November 2025

When Dundee gifted St Mirren the opener in this game, few would have predicted they'd come back so quickly and go into the break ahead.

But that's just what has transpired.

Mikael Mandron had the visitors ahead, but an own goal from Alex Gogic and a thunderbolt from Drey Wright put Dundee in front.

Hard to know what the second half will bring, given the inconsistencies of these teams.

  17. HALF-TIMEpublished at 15:48 GMT 29 November 2025

    Motherwell 0-0 Hearts

Motherwell have had the better of it at Fir Park against the league leaders, but haven't found a way to break the deadlock.

Callum Hendry thought he had put the hosts in front, but was denied by a VAR offside check.

A very good watch despite the lack of goals.
