    Brighton 0-0 Sunderland

    An hour on the clock.

A much better second half but still no goals.

    Where are the points heading?

    GOAL - Wolves 0-1 Brentfordpublished at 16:21 GMT 20 December 2025

    Keane Lewis-Potter (63 mins)

Keane Lewis-Potter is alert to run onto Vitaly Janelt's bouncing ball over the top of the Wolves defence and finish past Jose Sa.

It's a good finish, but that's awful defending from Wolves. Ladislav Krejcí completely misjudged the bounce of the ball.

  3. CLOSE!published at 16:21 GMT 20 December 2025

    Bournemouth 0-0 Burnley

Best chance so far for Bournemouth that should have resulted in a goal.

Marcos Senesi loops a ball over the defence for David Brooks but he can't keep his volley down.

A frustrating afternoon for Brooks, who has had six attempts on goal so far.

  4. 'West Ham bringing some fight'published at 16:20 GMT 20 December 2025

    Man City 2-0 West Ham

    Leon Osman
Former Everton midfielder on BBC Radio 5 Live

West Ham are trying to take the fight to Man City more now.

I cannot get over how frustrated Pep Guardiola is on the side-line. He is desperate for his team to get control of the game - he wants five or 10 minutes of possession football.

  5. 'Positives in the second half'published at 16:20 GMT 20 December 2025

    Brighton 0-0 Sunderland

    Glenn Murray
Former Crystal Palace and Brighton striker on Final Score

This game is starting to brighten up.

Sunderland have had more possession, which I think people wouldn't expect, and 11 shots. They've been very good.

There's definitely positives in the opening knockings of the second half.

  6. Postpublished at 16:18 GMT 20 December 2025

    Man City 2-0 West Ham

The ball falls to Phil Foden just inside the penalty box and he takes a good touch then let's fly but can't find the target.

  7. 'This game needs Mitoma'published at 16:18 GMT 20 December 2025

    Brighton 0-0 Sunderland

    Daniel Gabbidon
Former Premier League defender on BBC Radio 5 Sports Extra at Amex Stadium

This game needs Kaoru Mitoma. He is warming up.

  8. Postpublished at 16:18 GMT 20 December 2025

    Brighton 0-0 Sunderland

The chances are starting to fall at both ends.

A driving run by Trai Hume has the Brighton defence scampering and the full back takes one look up before taking aim...it flashes wide of Bart Verbruggen's post.

  9. 'A big opportunity to miss for West Ham'published at 16:17 GMT 20 December 2025

    Man City 2-0 West Ham

    Leon Osman
Former Everton midfielder on BBC Radio 5 Live

That was a real opening for West Ham, created completely by themselves.

The ball was fed to Paquetá really quickly and it was a great pass to Bowen to get him one v one. That was a big opportunity to miss - Donnarumma would have been beaten.

  10. Postpublished at 16:15 GMT 20 December 2025

    Bournemouth 0-0 Burnley

Another chance for Bournemouth as this time David Brooks gets away from his marker to meet a cross but can't direct his header on target.

  11. Postpublished at 16:15 GMT 20 December 2025

    Man City 2-0 West Ham

Shades of Leeds United and Fulham here for Manchester City.

Seemingly coasting towards victory but all of a sudden looking vulnerable to the counter attack and to potentially conceding.

It just feels like there is an opportunity here for Wolves, but to be fair they haven’t taken it all season!!

    Wolves 0-0 Brentford

It's chaos at the back for Brentford as Rico Henry's attempted clearance is blocked and deflected into the penalty area by Ki-Jana Hoever.

Caoimhín Kelleher does extremely well to get to the ball before two Wolves attackers and punch away while taking a clattering himself.

    Hopeful signs for the hosts.

  14. 'He doesn't get the right connection'published at 16:14 GMT 20 December 2025

    Brighton 0-0 Sunderland

    Daniel Gabbidon
Former Premier League defender on BBC Radio 5 Sports Extra at Amex Stadium

Great pick out from the substitution Joel Veltman. It's not the easiest of chances, it's bouncing and he has to hit it first time but doesn't get the right connection on it.

  15. CLOSE!published at 16:14 GMT 20 December 2025

    Man City 2-0 West Ham

    Should score!

West Ham build a promising counter attack and Jarrod Bowen drives down the right-hand side before dragging just wide of the far post.

  16. Postpublished at 16:13 GMT 20 December 2025

    Brighton 0-0 Sunderland

The first five minutes of the second half at the AMEX have been considerably more entertaining than the first 45 minutes.

  17. Postpublished at 16:13 GMT 20 December 2025

    Bournemouth 0-0 Burnley

Antoine Semenyo continues to look the most likely to score in this game and he receives the ball inside the box with some space to shoot, but he can't keep his shot down.

  18. 'Guardiola looking frustrated'published at 16:13 GMT 20 December 2025

    Man City 2-0 West Ham

    Leon Osman
Former Everton midfielder on BBC Radio 5 Live

Pep Guardiola is getting really frustrated - sometimes because of bad decision making and sometimes the speed of the passing.

He is asking more from his team despite the score being in their favour.

  19. Postpublished at 16:13 GMT 20 December 2025

    Brighton 0-0 Sunderland

Now a big chance for Yasin Ayari but the Swede skies it.

A finish that provokes more groans from the home fans.

  20. Postpublished at 16:12 GMT 20 December 2025

    Man City 2-0 West Ham

West Ham have been a bit brighter in this second half.

Jarrod Bowen does really well down the left and somehow gets it away from Gianluigi Donnarumma but his shot can only find the side netting.
