Watford right-back Jeremy Ngakia brings down Hull winger Yu Hirakawa on the touchline and he goes into the book for his troubles.

Stephen Mfuni meets a corner in the six-yard box but heads the ball straight back the way it came.

Northampton took an early lead at Oakwell when Nesta Guinness-Walker tapped in a rebound from close range, but David McGoldrick's equaliser for Barnsley means it's all square at the interval there.

Sheffield United much the better side but we're level at the break.

Myles Peart-Harris put Oxford in front after a terrible fumble from Michael Cooper in the Blades' goal.

But having steadily upped the ante, the hosts found an equaliser through Sydie Peck.

Gus Hamer then hit the bar for the Blades.

Blackburn hold a slender advantage at the break.

Eiran Cashin's fine finish from Ryoya Morishita's cross is the difference and Rovers are out of the relegation zone as things stand.

Gustavo Hamer cuts in from the left and from just outside the area, curls a beautiful strike heading for the top-right corner.

Jamie Cumming is beaten in the Oxford goal but the bar denied Hamer!

The Hull manager is always really honest in his assessment of the game. He will not be happy with this. He has walked away from his technical area to speak to his backroom staff.

Stephen Mfuni earns himself a yellow card on debut for Watford after sliding into Hull's Joe Gelhardt on the touchline.

Watford are pressing and probing in the final third but can't quite find that decisive opening. Hull are still having to dig in and defend very well at the moment.

A bit more pressure now from the home side.

They once again look threatening down the right and get a ball into the area that bobbles free for Andre Brooks to strike left footed.

But Ciaron Brown slides across for Oxford to make an excellent block.

The resulting corner is swung in and Tyler Bindon meets it unmarked eight yards out - but heads over the bar!

Best chance of the game for the Blades.

Half-an-hour gone at the MKM Stadium and automatic promotion-chasing Hull City have only had one shot so far.

The Tigers would move within two points of the top-two with a win tonight.

David McGoldrick got the slightest of touches to a free-kick from the left wing and that was enough to move Barnsley level with Northampton at Oakwell.

That's five goals in four games now for the veteran striker.

Doncaster remain 2-0 up at Burton and will be up from 22nd to 17th if the three League One scores stay as they are - illustrating just how close it is towards the bottom of the third tier.
