    Blackburn 0-0 Hull

Hull looking to get on the front foot early and Joe Gelhardt has a pop but Eiran Cashin makes a good block to deny him for Rovers.

  2. Sky Blues need to brighten uppublished at 16:04 GMT 31 January

    QPR 0-0 Coventry

    Charlotte Richardson
BBC Final Score at Loftus Road

That late January sunshine has completely disappeared as the clouds open and rain pours over Loftus Road.

A shame the same can’t be said about goalscoring opportunities. Deadlock here. The league leaders failed to register a shot on target first half. Lots for the visitors to do.

QPR looking the far more dangerous in open play. Richard Kone is always a handful in the final third. He has forced two decent saves from Carl Rushworth.

Coventry scored seven against the Hoops back in August, they need to rediscover the sharp summer shooting and brighten up for the second half.

  3. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 16:04 GMT 31 January

    Oxford United 0-1 Birmingham

Change at the break for the home side.

Jamie McDonnell, who received a yellow card just before half-time, has been withdrawn by new boss Matt Bloomfield and on in his place is Yunus Konak.

  4. KICK-OFFpublished at 16:02 GMT 31 January

    Games kicked-off at 15:00 GMT

We'll have a staggered start to the second half with Millwall v Sheffield United running more than 10-minutes behind some games after a first-half injury.

The whistles are starting to sound around the grounds now and 45 minutes of agony and ecstasy are under way...

    HT: QPR 0-0 Coventry

Fun fact, when we last played Coventry I checked the half-time score during my university convocation ceremony here in the US, and we were already 5-0 down. This is definitely a big improvement on that - progress!

    HT: Portsmouth 2-0 West Brom

Poor management of West Brom this year at all levels from the recruitment of inexperienced managers at Championship level, the managers inability to sort out the players, and the players not supporting those inexperienced managers. Next year we will be in League One unless they change again.

  8. 'West Brom are not a team working together'published at 15:57 GMT 31 January

    HT: Portsmouth 2-0 West Brom

    Guy Whittingham
Former Portsmouth manager on BBC Radio Solent

We were talking after about 15 minutes Portsmouth have had so much possession and they are on top so now is the time they need to score - and they did.

The score really reflects on the dominance Pompey have had.

West Brom are not pressing Portsmouth from the front and when they are they are not fully committed. They are not a team working together after looking at how they press.

  9. 'There was some really good football'published at 15:56 GMT 31 January

    HT: Middlesbrough 1-0 Norwich

    Neil Maddison
Former Middlesbrough midfielder on BBC Tees

In that first 15 minutes we showed the quality that we are capable of and I thought there was some really good football.

It got a little bit scrappy at times, and Norwich did offer some threats on the attack, and they are not a bad side - and they can cause you problems.

We just have to make sure that we take our opportunities, and Boro need to make sure they are a little bit tighter at the back to stop any potential threats.

  10. HALF-TIMEpublished at 15:55 GMT 31 January

    Millwall 1-1 Sheff Utd

All square at the interval with most the action compacted into an eventful couple of minutes.

Andre Brooks squeezed in a decent finish at the near post from the edge of the box to put Sheffield United ahead after 17 minutes.

But two minutes later, Mihailo Ivanovic prodded Millwall level after reacting quickest in the six-yard box from Caleb Taylor's knock down.

Callum O'Hare missed a golden opportunity for the Blades in stoppage time at the end of the half but somehow headed wide.

  11. Postpublished at 15:54 GMT 31 January

    Millwall 1-1 Sheff Utd

Millwall win a corner late in the half... but it flies over everyone and out for a goal-kick. Frustrating for the Lions.

  12. HALF-TIMEpublished at 15:51 GMT 31 January

    QPR 0-0 Coventry

    Not great.

The recalled Jack Rudoni headed a decent chance over for the leaders in the opening minutes but their bright start faded and Carl Rushworth made a brilliant reaction save to tip Richard Kone's header onto the bar and prevent the R's going into the lead before half-time.

Plenty of work to do for Frank Lampard, who could see a previously 10-point lead at the summit wiped out by tea-time.

  13. CLOSE!published at 15:50 GMT 31 January

    Millwall 1-1 Sheff Utd

Oh Callum O'Hare... What a miss! Sheffield United should be ahead.

Max Crocombe makes a brilliant save to deny Tom Cannon's initial effort but it comes to O'Hare who somehow heads wide with the goal at his mercy.

  14. PENALTY APPEALpublished at 15:50 GMT 31 January

    QPR 0-0 Coventry

Isaac Haydon wanted a penalty for the hosts after going down in the box under pressure from Matt Grimes but ref Josh Smith says nothing doing.

The hosts are on top in the five added minutes at the end of the first half.

  15. HALF-TIMEpublished at 15:49 GMT 31 January

    Watford 0-0 Swansea

Watford have huffed and puffed but the Swansea house remains intact.

Not the greatest game, not the clearest of chances, the hosts have had the better of it as they seek to close back on the play-offs but have yet to find a way past Lawrence Vigouroux.

The Swans have lost seven of their past eight on the road but are clinging on to a point as things stand.

  16. HALF-TIMEpublished at 15:49 GMT 31 January

    Ipswich 0-0 Preston

We are goalless at the break at Portman Road.

Little goalmouth action to tell you about but just before the break Town keeper Christian Walton had to be agile to turn away a goalbound volley from Lewis Gibson.

Preston, who have lost their last four in all competitions, without scoring a single goal, have given as good as they've got so far.

The Tractor Boys will have to improve if they are to keep chase with second-placed Middlesbrough, who are currently winning 1-0, and are set to go seven points clear of Town.

  17. HALF-TIMEpublished at 15:48 GMT 31 January

    Middlesbrough 1-0 Norwich

Good, entertaining first-half at the Riverside and Hayden Hackney's screamer from outside the box separates the two sides.

Hackney, who had earlier had a long-range effort well saved by Vladan Kovacevic, fired home into the top corner from 20 yards out after receiving the ball with his back to goal.

The visitors have continued to create chances, however, and Jovon Makama has gone close twice, forcing Sol Brynn into two saves.

    Good game this.

  18. INJURY TIME & SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 15:48 GMT 31 January

    Millwall 1-1 Sheff Utd

Seven minutes added on at the end of the half as Sam McCallum goes off injured on a stretcher after receiving lengthy treatment. Harrison Burrows is on in his place.

  19. HALF-TIMEpublished at 15:48 GMT 31 January

    Oxford United 0-1 Birmingham

Half-time and Birmingham go into the interval with a slender advantage.

An own goal from Oxford winger Myles Peart-Harris is the difference between the two sides after Paik Seung-Ho swung in a dangerous free-kick from the left of the box.

Birmingham set for just their fourth league win of the season as things stand.

  20. HALF-TIMEpublished at 15:47 GMT 31 January

    Portsmouth 2-0 West Brom

A perfect first half for Pompey.

A nightmare for West Bromwich Albion who are being sucked into the relegation battle at a rate of knots.

Conor Chaplin swept home Milli Alli's cut-back for his first Blues goal after returning on loan this season on 20 minutes and five minutes later Alli raced clear onto Andre Dozzell's curling pass and kept his cool to slot past Max O'Leary and send the home fans wild.

Work for Eric Ramsay to do in the next 15 minutes.
