"We won it last season and hopefully we can do that again this year.

"The last result wasn't good for us, but getting that win tonight was good for us."

Last night Chelsea won 3-1 at League One side Cardiff City with Alejandro Garnacho netting twice. Pedro Neto also bagged.

Earlier on in case you missed it, Manchester City beat Brentford 2-0.

Rayan Cherki and Savinho scored the goals in a merited win for Pep Guardiola's side.

All the stats back up that Newcastle were deserved winners - more shots, on target, touches in the opposition box etc etc.

The teams in the hat or whatever it is are Chelsea, Manchester City, Newcastle and Arsenal/Crystal Palace.

The Gunners face the Eagles in the last quarter-final on Tuesday, 23 December.

The draw for the semi-final will be coming up soon.
