Brentford have had three shots in this game. All three have been on target but none have really tested James Trafford in the City goal.

Brentford were just starting to create some chances before that Savinho chip found the back of the net.

The goal has ended up taking it out of them somewhat. They've been pretty passive since going two down.

Heartbreaking for Brentford and Ajer. Ajer worked so hard to get back, and in doing so it was him who the ball deflected awkwardly off.

    Savinho (67 mins)

A good break from Manchester City and Savinho makes a brilliant run, chipping over the goalkeeper Hakon Valdimarsson by way of a lucky deflection.

Surely City are heading for the last four with that goal.

You think Yoane Wissa is going to score but it's well defended by Fulham. Much better from Newcastle.

Chance for Newcastle as Bruno Guimaraes shoots from outside the box. It's deflected I think and then punched by the Fulham keeper back into the danger zone. it almost lands to Yoane Wissa, but not quite, and then Tino Livramento curls an effort off target.
