GOAL - Linfield 2-0 Bangorpublished at 15:18 GMT 3 January

    Matt Yates (19 mins)

It's two goals in two minutes for Linfield and this time it's Matt Yates who finds the back of the net!

Kyle McClean finds Yates with a beautifully disguised pass, before Yates strikes fiercely with his left foot and finds the roof of the net.

Yates' strike is right at Patrick Solis Grogan in the Bangor goal, but there is nothing he could do about it with the pace the ball is struck at.

GOAL - Carrick Rangers 0-2 Glentoranpublished at 15:15 GMT 3 January

    Pat Hoban (14 mins)

The visitors double their lead on the quarter hour and again it's the Cooney-Hoban axis that does the trick.

This time, the defender floats a free-kick from the touchline into a crowded penalty area where Hoban rises highest to glance his header past a helpless Pengelly in the Carrick goal.

What a start from the Glens!

  18. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 15:13 GMT 3 January

    Carrick Rangers 0-1 Glentoran

We spoke too soon about Ryan Waide.

He is unable to shake off his injury and leaves the field to be replaced by Eoghan McCawl.

Not a great start for the home side.

  19. goal

GOAL - Carrick Rangers 0-1 Glentoranpublished at 15:10 GMT 3 January

    Pat Hoban (9 mins)

The visitors are in front inside the opening 10 minutes and what a fine goal it is.

Ryan Cooney makes great strides down the right wing before whipping a first time ball across the face of the Carrick goal.

The home defence fails to deal with the delivery and there is Glentoran's top goalscorer Pat Hoban who takes a touch before drilling the ball low into the bottom corner of the net past Scott Pengelly.
