Summary

  1. HALF-TIMEpublished at 15:50 GMT 3 January

    Carrick Rangers 0-4 Glentoran

What an opening 45 minutes it has been for title chasing Glentoran and their main man up front - Pat Hoban - who has scored all four of the visitors' goals.

The striker opened his account after just nine minutes before glancing home a Ryan Cooney free-kick just five minutes later.

He duly completed his hat-trick four minutes before the break but wasn't finished yet as he struck again on the stroke of half-time.

It's been a half to forget for the hosts who aside from shipping four goals, have lost Ryan Waide to injury and Reece Glendinning to a red card.

Penny for the thoughts of the respective managers during the break.

  2. HALF-TIMEpublished at 15:49 GMT 3 January

    Crusaders 1-0 Dungannon Swifts

A very entertaining half of football from both teams.

Dungannon have been unlucky not to score as they went close on several occasions.

Declan Caddell will be the happier manager of the two however, with his side leading at the break.

  6. CLOSE!published at 15:47 GMT 3 January

    Crusaders 1-0 Dungannon Swifts

Nearly a second for the hosts just before half-time.

  7. Postpublished at 15:45 GMT 3 January

    Linfield 2-0 Bangor

Lovely move from the Seasiders as Ben Arthurs starts it and almost finishes it, but for some brilliant defending from Ethan McGee.

Arthurs finds Tiernan Mulvenna in an attacking position, before running into the box and almost getting on the end of Mulvenna's return through ball.

McGee is alert to the danger and stops what looked like a certain goal for the visitors.

I don't think he (Reece Glendinning) can have any complaints; it is studs up into the chest.

Whether it is intentional or not, it doesn't really matter as it was reckless.
