The biggest difference in this game has been City's press versus Chelsea's.

City know what they're doing in different scenarios and have nailed it. Chelsea are dropping deeper and deeper because they can't get pressure on the ball.

What Man City have done is dealt with Chelsea's threats whether that's Ellie Carpenter bombing down the right, Sandy Baltimore on the right.

And when they've dealt with that, they've transitioned with Casparij on the forward runs, Hasegawa joining in.

The quality in the final third - Miedema to Bunny Shaw and scoring.

They've capitalised on Chelsea and done what Man City have been doing all season

Khadija Shaw is a phenomenal talent and gets better and better each season.

Her presence and her ability to have connections with team-mates, like Vivianne Miedema, is brilliant. She pops up with winners and makes Manchester City deadly going forward.

But you need everyone in that front line having those connections and impacting with goals and assists.

Bunny Shaw looked pretty uncomfortable in the final minutes of the first half.

City will be hoping she's fit enough to return for the second half.

What a display by Man City in this first half.

Chelsea have had their chances but they've been limited in open play to little spells where you felt they could start to hurt City.

But City have hurt Chelsea - Miedema to Bunny Shaw often ends in the back of the net.

This has felt like a fairly even contest, but it's Manchester City who are in control at the break.

Chelsea work another corner short, this time to Lauren James, and her cross squirms into the six yard box where it is hacked away by Bunny Shaw.

Shaw certainly doesn't shy away from her defensive duties.

Three minutes added on at the end of this first half.

Slight worry for Man City as Bunny Shaw goes down needing retreatment. She gets back to her feet and hobbles to the sideline.

Chelsea should be hugely grateful that this game isn't done and dusted.

Shaw finds Hemp breaking away on the right with a genius reverse pass, and she passes on to Kerolin.

The Brazilian's ball in behind the retreating Chelsea defence is tantalising, but Yui Hasegawa can't quite reach it despite flinging herself at it.

Chelsea are hanging on.

This is remarkable really but City are deserving of their 2-0 lead. Sonia Bompastor was furious with the officials but having watched the replays, I just think Khadija Shaw was too strong for Naomi Girma.

It's a great run, a great through ball from Vivianne Miedema and City are really enjoying themselves. Chelsea need half-time!
