Manchester City head coach Andree Jeglertz: "We played with a confidence that is not rare in football but we are a team that is so determined. We attack on the transition and we own their half and control the game. We had so many layers but we did everything with determination. That's the crucial thing."

On Kerolin: "We see her scoring three goals - great player, she has the speed, she's doing a great job in defending and put a lot of energy in that. She can create something out of nothing. I am happy for her."

On whether Man City have won the league: "We haven't won the league. I will never say that [it's won] until it's done. Just playing that kind of game, the result is a fantastic win. We are getting players onto the field today and keeping the standard high and that is very important for the rest of the season."

On inflicting a heavy defeat on Chelsea: "This is not about Chelsea. This is about us. Every game we play here [at the Etihad] is special. A lot of emotions. Just showing the quality of the players and the team for our fans is a proud moment and that's unique to do that against Chelsea.

"There are a lot of expectations on this team now and that's when they've delivered the best performance. I think that's impressive from this group."

Chelsea manager Sonia Bompastor speaking after defeat by Manchester City: "There a lot of things to say about the performance. Really disappointed. We were not efficient at all on the pitch. We made too many mistakes and when you play against a team like Manchester City, you just get punished.

"We are in a tough moment. It's tough for everyone - for players, for staff. We are not going to shy away from that. We need to find solutions. I need to find solutions as the manager. We have quality in this squad to be confident. We still have lot of competitions to play in. We are in the final of the League Cup. We need to take the learnings from this. It's tough but we need to stay together in this moment to bounce back and achieve better results.

"We are having [tough conversations] from last season, this season. I am direct and honest with the players. We are able to say to each other what we think of our results and performances. We just need to realise and work hard now."

On whether the club will switch focus to other competitions: "We need to focus on every game. We have enough equality in the squad to achieve what we want this season. Every game will be tough for us and every game will be important. We need to go into the next one knowing that we need to stay in the present."

"It's hard to talk about myself. I'm enjoying the moment with the team. Without the team I can't do anything. If we're in this position right now, it's because of the team.
