  9. 'We've managed to sort out the fine margins'published at 19:25 GMT 2 December 2025

Fulham v Man City (19:30 GMT)

    Fulham

Fulham midfielder Sander Berge speaking to Sky Sports: "Up until the last two games we've been doing well. We have been in large parts of the games and played well. We've managed to sort out the fine margins. They are going our way now. We've been better in both boxes, clinical, and most of all we've been solid defensively.

"We know our quality in the group and as soon as we got a win that boosted us to get another one and hope to get a third tonight against a tough opponent.

"City are a great side, a fantastic team, and it is the only team Marco [Silva] and Fulham haven't beaten since he was in the Premier League, so we really want to do that tonight."

Tottenham need a result and fast.

Pressure is mounting on Thomas Frank after a recent poor run of form and performances has seen them slip to 12th in the Premier League.

  12. 'We are nothing without the fans'published at 19:22 GMT 2 December 2025

    Newcastle v Tottenham (20:15 GMT)

Thomas Frank understands the frustrations of the Spurs fans after another poor display at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Saturday night.

"As I said after the game, I completely understand the frustration," Frank said. "If you don't win, there will always be frustration. That is normal.

"Especially as we haven't won as much as we would have wanted to at home, not only this year but the last long period. So the frustration grows a little bit more.

"We are nothing without the fans. No club is anything without the fans. Tottenham is nothing without our fantastic fans, nothing. We need each other.

"My point is that during matches is where we need each other - where I want to create a fortress.

"If you want to create a fortress, it can only be together - fans, team, me. My job is to make sure we do everything we can to perform - but can we do that together? That is where you create a difficult place to play."

After a sparkling start to life at Everton, the goal contributions for Jack Grealish have dried up.

The Man City loanee has gone five games without a goal or assist and Everton could really do with him back on top form tonight.

Everton have a remarkably strong away record since David Moyes returned in January, winning seven and drawing three of 15 league matches on the road — only Arsenal have fared better in that period.

But historically, Bournemouth has been anything but a happy hunting ground for Everton. They are winless in all eight of their league games at the Vitality Stadium, losing each of the past four.

The Cherries are the team they have faced most often in their league history without claiming a single win.

  15. 'It's been a rollercoaster week'published at 19:19 GMT 2 December 2025

    Bournemouth v Everton (19:30 GMT)

    Everton

Everton midfielder Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall speaking to Sky Sports: "Spirits are high. It was a disappointing result at the weekend but the good thing about tonight is that we haven't been able to put it behind us and we've got another game in quick succession to try and get a good result. It's been a rollercoaster week but hopefully after tonight we can look back at it as a positive one.

"I'm playing well and managing to chip in with a couple of goals. I still feel like I can play better. There is a lot more to come, but the most important thing is the team doing well and if that means I'm going to chip in with a couple of goals then so be it. Either way if the team is doing well then I'm doing well, so happy days for everyone."

Fulham v Man City (19:30 GMT)

Manchester City have lost their last two away Premier League games, only twice previously losing three on the bounce under Pep Guardiola – between March and July 2020 and in November/December 2024. This season is their lowest points per game on the road (1.17) since 2008-09 (0.58).

Victory in west London would take Manchester City to within two points of leaders Arsenal, but Pep Guardiola's side have yet to hit top gear, struggling to find consistency, particularly away from home.

While they thrashed Wolves 4-0 at Molineux on the opening weekend, they have claimed just one win in five top-flight matches on the road since then, losing each of the past two against Aston Villa and Newcastle.

Newcastle have won six in a row at home and I was at the game at Everton at the weekend and they were superb. It was their best away performance of the season. They were really good.

Nick Woltemade led the line. Eddie Howe made big changes at the weekend. They're a strong side and it's going to be a real big test for Tottenham this evening.

The next step for Newcastle, according to head coach Eddie Howe, is finding "the consistency we're searching for". Wins against Manchester City and Everton have come either side of a European defeat in Marseille and Howe admits striking the "sweet spot" between the demands of the Premier League and Champions League has proved a challenge.

What has proved less of a challenge, at least in recent years, has been beating Tottenham Hotspur.

Newcastle have won six of the past seven encounters in all competitions, including a 2-0 victory at St James' Park when the sides met in the EFL Cup in October.

Howe also has a formidable personal record against Thomas Frank, winning six of eight Premier League meetings whilst his opposite number was Brentford boss.
