  1. 'We have a rich history in the cup'published at 19:31 GMT 13 February

    Wrexham v Ipswich (19:45 GMT)

    Wrexham

Wrexham boss Phil Parkinson: "First of all, it was a great night against Nottingham Forest – a classic cup tie. We spoke to the lads about creating our own memories for the team. We want to do everything to try and achieve that. These cup nights are always special – we have a rich history in the cup. It is important that we reflect that history.

"We played out of possession really well against Ipswich [earlier in the season], but we needed to do better ourselves with the ball. With the ball, as the season has gone on that we have got better and better."

  2. Reynolds' kids 'frustrated' by Wrexham talkpublished at 19:29 GMT 13 February

Deadpool star Ryan Reynolds says his children get "frustrated" when he is stopped in the street to talk about Wrexham.

The actor joked he always made time to talk to fans about the football club he co-owns - much to the annoyance of his three daughters and son.

The Hollywood A-lister teamed up with It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia star Rob Mac in February 2021 to buy the world's third oldest professional football club.

The pair told The New York Times' Athletic that, five years on, they still do not fully understand the sport - but Reynolds said he was now "a Wrexham lifer".

"If we are walking down the street, I'll get asked about Deadpool [by someone] and it's usually a two or three-second conversation," he added.

"If someone talks about Wrexham, I just turn right round and park it against a street pole. My kids are like, 'oh no!'"

  3. 'It's going to be a good cup tie'published at 19:26 GMT 13 February

    Wrexham v Ipswich (19:45 GMT)

    Ipswich Town

Ipswich Town boss Kieran McKenna: "We have a big period coming up, no doubt about that. We are happy with the result last weekend [against Derby County]. We would like another one tonight to set us up for what is coming up."

On Wrexham: "Really good side. The manager has done a great job, he has been there a long time. It makes them a competitive outfit.

"At home they like to come out an attack more – I think it is going to be a good cup tie."

  4. An eye on next weekend?published at 19:23 GMT 13 February

    Wrexham v Ipswich (19:45 GMT)

Kieran McKenna spoke about his team selection ahead of the game, and it's clear where his priorities lie.

These two sides meet at Stok Cae Ras in the Championship next weekend, and while both teams are in the hunt for promotion, Ipswich are pushing hard for a top two spot.

Wrexham defended incredibly well to earn a 0-0 draw in the league fixture between the sides earlier in the season at Portman Road, a game that, in truth, the home side dominated.

But they hung on in there did Wrexham, and they will hope home advantage can count against McKenna's men over the next eight days.

  6. 'Emotional game for me'published at 19:20 GMT 13 February

Hull City v Chelsea (19:45 GMT)

    Chelsea

Chelsea boss Liam Rosenior: "It is an emotional game for me and my family, but we have a job to do. We want to get as far as we can in this competition. We have to be really at it from the first whistle.

"Every game is an opportunity. I am getting to know the group. I want to see a good character and spirit about the team.

"I have learnt a lot about the group, and I am looking forward to learning more about them."

  7. 'We have to believe'published at 19:18 GMT 13 February

Hull City v Chelsea (19:45 GMT)

    Hull City

Hull City boss Sergej Jakirovic, speaking to TNT Sports: "Hopefully, we can make it difficult for Chelsea.

"Every day I encourage them – we have to be good on the ball, especially to not make unforced errors, otherwise it is very dangerous for our goal. We have to believe that we can play – it is 11v11. We have to stick to the tactical plan.

Hull City's decision to appoint Sergej Jakirovic as their new head coach in June last year was not met with much, or indeed any, enthusiasm from a number of fans.

The Tigers had just avoided relegation to League One on goal difference, one season after now Chelsea boss Liam Rosenior was sacked for only managing a seventh-placed finish.

Yet many were still surprised Ruben Selles was fired after keeping them up.

However, Jakirovic and Hull have confounded expectations to sit just five points off the top two in the Championship.

Despite the early scepticism, it looks like this "bizarre appointment" could just be the perfect one.

  9. Johnson way of Ipswich threatpublished at 19:11 GMT 13 February

    Wrexham v Ipswich (19:45 GMT)

Ipswich defender Ben Johnson expects a tough game against Hollywood-backed Wrexham.

The Welsh side are performing well in the Championship as they look to keep their promotion run going.

They sit sixth, seven points behind Ipswich in third.

"A Friday night under the lights in an FA Cup fixture is one we'll be relishing but they'll be relishing as well, especially with playing them next week [in the league]," Johnson said.

"They're riding high on momentum - look at their last three or four seasons, back-to-back promotions, and they're looking to do another one."

Kieffer Moore and Nathan Broadhead played key roles in Ipswich Town's rise up the football pyramid.

But the Welsh duo are now plotting the Tractor Boys' downfall as they bid to fire Wrexham into the fifth round of the FA Cup for the first time since 1996-97 by beating their former employers.

"I can't wait to see many close friends of mine that I spent two-and-a-half years with, I'm looking forward to seeing them, and hopefully we can beat them," Broadhead told BBC Radio Wales Sport.

While also showing sentiment towards those at Portman Road, forward Moore was equally ruthless.

"I love playing against my old sides and I love scoring against them too," he told BBC Match of the Day Wales.

    Wrexham v Ipswich (19:45 GMT)

It's five changes in total for Wrexham from last weekend's 2-0 loss to Millwall in the Championship.

Ryan Longman comes in for Issa Kabore at right wing-back while George Thomason starts on the opposite flank instead of the injured Liberato Cacace.

George Dobson replaces Matty James, who is also injured, in midfield. The other two alterations see Josh Windass and Sam Smith come in for Ben Sheaf and Kieffer Moore.

Former Ipswich pair Moore and Nathan Broadhead are both on the bench for the hosts.

Wrexham XI: Okonkwo; Cleworth, Hyam (C), Doyle; Longman, Dobson, Rathbone, Thomason; Windass, O'Brien; Smith.

Subs: Burton, Scarr, Kabore, Barnett, Sheaf, Broadhead, Keillor-Dunn, Cadamarteri, Moore.

    Wrexham line-up

Kieran McKenna makes 10 changes in total for Ipswich following his side's 2-1 win at Derby County last time out.

Ben Johnson, Jacob Greaves and Elkan Baggott join Kipre in the back four, with Dan Neil partnering Jens Cajuste in midfield.

Kasey McAteer, Sindre Walle Egeli and Chuba Akpom form the three behind lone striker Hirst.

Ipswich: Palmer, Johnson, Kipre, Greaves, Baggott, Neil, Cajuste, McAteer, Walle Egeli, Akpom, Hirst (C).

  16. 'Hollywood stardust won't take Wrexham to Wembley'published at 18:49 GMT 13 February

    Wrexham v Ipswich (19:45 GMT)

    .

Both teams are in the thick of the promotion race, and they meet again in Wales in the league next weekend.

With that in mind, I just wonder whether Ipswich manager Kieran McKenna will be the one to change things up here.

I hope he doesn't but I think he might, because his side are in reach of the automatic spots, and that would be Wrexham's chance.

Even so, I think this will be close. I'd normally just tip Ipswich to lose anyway but this prediction is for my daughter's teacher, Mr Fields, who is a big fan and will be delighted that I am backing them.

As for moneybags Wrexham, well I don't think their Hollywood stardust will help to take them to Wembley, but after this they will be able to focus on their play-off bid.

Sutton's prediction: 1-1 after extra time, Ipswich win on penalties

  17. 'I just see Chelsea being too strong'published at 18:45 GMT 13 February

    Hull v Chelsea (19:45 GMT)

    .

Chelsea boss Liam Rosenior is really well thought of by Hull City fans from his time in charge there, and he is a former Tigers player as well.

So, he should get a great reception there on Friday night, but what he really needs is a win - especially after letting a two-goal lead slip against Leeds on Tuesday.

Rosenior has had some great results with Chelsea but it seems some fans aren't convinced by him. He will be desperate to prove them wrong by winning a trophy and the FA Cup is a great opportunity for him to do that this season.

Hull are going well in the Championship under Sergej Jakirovic but I just see Chelsea being too strong for them.

I scored for Chelsea against Hull in the FA Cup, many years ago. We won 6-1 that day and the Blues are going to win comfortably this time too.

    Sutton's prediction: 1-4

  18. 'Emotional family connection'published at 18:38 GMT 13 February

Returning to the club where his grandmother was a season holder will be an "amazing thing for me and my family", says Chelsea boss Liam Rosenior.

The Blues visit Championship Hull City in the FA Cup fourth round on Friday evening, providing Rosenior an emotional opportunity to return to the club he watched as a child, played for, and later managed.

    "Incredible," he told BBC Sport.

"I've got an emotional family connection with the club through my grandma. I used to go up there when I was a little boy. I'm talking four or five years old on summer holidays all the way through. Without that football club, I wouldn't be here now.

"She was a season ticket holder. She got to see me play there. Sadly she passed away pretty much a year to the day before I joined Hull as manager."

"I think she did the draw," Rosenior added with a smile.

The Premier League has a breather this weekend as the FA Cup takes centre stage, with a reunion kicking things off.

Liam Rosenior takes his Chelsea side to former club Hull this evening, while there's an all-Championship clash as Wrexham host Ipswich.
