Coventry score second goalImage source, Rex Features

Floodgates open. Goal number 29 this season for the Sky Blues.

Minutes after Victor Torp opened the scoring in phenomenal fashion, Brandon Thomas-Asante backs it up with something equally special.

He rattles off a thunderous strike from outside the box to make it 2-0.

Coventry are back on top as it stands.

  3. goal

GOAL: Sheff Utd 1-0 Watfordpublished at 16:18 BST 18 October 2025

    Callum O'Hare (59 mins)

A precious lead for the lowly hosts!

Callum O'Hare gives the Blades the lead with what is just their fourth league goal of the season.

Egil Selvik saves Tyrese Campbell's initial effort but Andre Brooks is first to the loose ball and tees up O'Hare to tap in.

  4. 'Against the run of play'published at 16:17 BST 18 October 2025

    Coventry 1-0 Blackburn

    Steve Ogrizovic
Ex-Coventry City goalkeeper on BBC CWR

Dare I say that's slightly against the run of play if I'm being fair to Blackburn.

Torp has a lot to do there, he steadies himself and volleys it low into the corner.

At this level I would probably expect the goalkeeper to save it, but let's not take away the effort from Thop.

  5. YELLOW CARDpublished at 16:17 BST 18 October 2025

    Norwich 0-0 Bristol City

City's Adam Randell is the third Robin to be shown a yellow card, well the fourth if you count head coach Gerhard Struber as well!

  6. goal

GOAL: Coventry 1-0 Blackburnpublished at 16:16 BST 18 October 2025

    Victor Torp (57 mins)

It was almost a certainty that they'd score... Coventry break the deadlock.

Fresh from his injury, Victor Torp dazzles with a spectacular strike to put the hosts ahead.

Unfortunate for Blackburn but should they keep playing as they have, they have every chance of keeping in this game.

  7. GREAT SAVE!published at 16:16 BST 18 October 2025

    Charlton 2-0 Sheff Wed

Sonny Carey has got one goal today already and that's nearly nuumber two, a stinging drive which is well batted clear by Wednesday keeper Ethan Horvath. Charlton well on top.

  8. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 16:16 BST 18 October 2025

    Sheff Utd 0-0 Watford

The home side go to their bench for the first time as they look for a breakthrough.

Aston Villa loanee Louie Barry is off and Andre Brooks is on.

  9. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 16:16 BST 18 October 2025

    Birmingham 1-2 Hull

Lewie Coyle receives treatment on the pitch but it's clear he can't continue.

Cody Drameh jogs on to take the Hull captains place.

  10. GREAT SAVE!published at 16:16 BST 18 October 2025

    Norwich 0-0 Bristol City

Radek Vitek to the rescue for Bristol City.

He does brilliantly to deny Emiliano Marcondes and then is alert to the danger as Josh Sargent looks to tap in the rebound and the goalkeeper flicks it away.

    Wonderful stuff.

  11. Postpublished at 16:14 BST 18 October 2025

    Coventry 0-0 Blackburn

It's so evenly contested at the CBS.

Just when you see Coventry ramping up their attack, the ball is up the other end for Yuki Ohashi to test Sky Blues keeper Carl Rushworth.

There's definitely a goal in this but at what end, I couldn't tell you.

  12. Postpublished at 16:14 BST 18 October 2025

    Norwich 0-0 Bristol City

We're still searching for a brealthrough.

Ross McCrorie cracks in a volley but Vladan Kovacevic makes the save.

  13. Postpublished at 16:14 BST 18 October 2025

    Sheff Utd 0-0 Watford

These two have been passing ships for much of the past 15 years.

This is just the seventh competitive meeting between them since March 2011.

Watford are looking for their first win here since October 2010.

  14. 'Stonewall penalty'published at 16:13 BST 18 October 2025

    Norwich 0-0 Bristol City

    Ed Hadwin
    Commentator on BBC Radio Bristol

That's a penalty all afternoon long, it looked like an absolute stonewaller.

If he doesn't go down there he's having a shot from 10 yards out with momentum behind him.

The City fans are having their say.

  15. YELLOW CARDpublished at 16:13 BST 18 October 2025

    Norwich 0-0 Bristol City

Bristol City appeal for a penalty but to no avail.

Referee Tom Nield then cautions Robins' boss Gerhard Struber.

  16. Postpublished at 16:12 BST 18 October 2025

    West Brom 1-0 Preston

North End have only lost once in the league all season but need to find a way to be a threat at The Hawthorns - where they have lost on 15 of their past 17 visits.

  17. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 16:10 BST 18 October 2025

    Birmingham 1-2 Hull

One change for Hull City at the break as Matt Crooks replaces David Akintola.

The game at St Andrew's has started a little later thanks to all the extra time at the end of the first-half.

Can they have all eyes on them for an explosive finale? Feels like it deserves it.

  18. Postpublished at 16:09 BST 18 October 2025

    Sheff Utd 0-0 Watford

BIG chance for the away side but Caleb Wiley can not direct his close range effort on target.

  19. Postpublished at 16:08 BST 18 October 2025

    Stoke 1-0 Wrexham

Wrexham starting the second period how they did the opening 45 - on the front foot.

Kieffer Moore shoots wide but the Welshmen are then thankful to goalkeeper Arthur Okonkwo as he denies Divin Mubama.

  20. KICK-OFFpublished at 16:04 BST 18 October 2025

It could get better, it could get worse, it might stay the same.

Anyway, we're back at it for the second 45.
