Wigan's turn to threaten as Fraser Murray gets in a close-range shot from Dara Costelloe's flick-on which is instinctively saved by Nathan Trott in the City goal.

Straight down the other end go Cardiff and Alex Robertson drives into the box only to see a powerful shot deflected off target and from the resulting corner Calum Chambers' glancing header is cleared off the line by Raphael with Dylan Lawlor lurking.

  4. GREAT SAVE!published at 15:19 GMT 4 January

    Cardiff 0-0 Wigan

This game has taken on the pattern of most Cardiff home games. Away side sitting deep and challenging the Bluebirds to break them down... and they nearly did.

Omari Kellyman latched onto a ricochet off Cian Ashford, spun and fired in a low shot which Sam Tickle dived to prevent creeping inside the post while moments later Kellyman lashed in a volley from the edge of the box which was close enough to Tickle for the keeper to parry away.

  5. 'I'd like to see Stockport keep the ball'published at 15:18 GMT 4 January

    Reading 0-0 Stockport

    Reece Brown
Former Bury defender on BBC Radio Manchester

I'd like to see Stockport keep the ball a little bit more, when the ball is going into Ben Hinchliffe, can they get it into better areas?

Reading have one striker up top, so can they work the ball and cause Reading some problems?

  6. Postpublished at 15:17 GMT 4 January

    Blackpool 0-0 Bradford

Just signs of life in this one.

Max Power lashes the first shot of the day over the Blackpool bar while at the other end Sam Walker fumbled a high ball into the Bantams box from Josh Bowler but the City defence were able to clear.

First shot on target. First bit of damage dealt.

  9. 'Bradford have started well'published at 15:15 GMT 4 January

    Blackpool 0-0 Bradford

    Steve Thompson
BBC Radio Lancashire summariser & former Blackpool assistant manager

Bradford have started well, you can see the style of play, as soon as they get the ball they get it forward into those channels because they know the runners are there.

Albie Morgan and George Honeyman have to watch they don't push too high up and give Max Power room in the middle.

  10. Postpublished at 15:15 GMT 4 January

    Blackpool 0-0 Bradford

Nothing in the way of action in the final third at either end until Bradford's Josh Neufville blasts his way to the byline past Scott Banks before fizzing a ball into the goalmouth which is blocked by the home defence.

  11. Postpublished at 15:13 GMT 4 January

    Reading 0-0 Stockport

Malik Mothersille makes the run into the box for Stockport but Jeriel Dorsett scuttles back to apply the pressure and it's enough to muscle out a wide attempt from the Stockport forward.

  12. Postpublished at 15:13 GMT 4 January

    Cardiff 0-0 Wigan

Wigan forward Callum Wright pounces on a loose pass from teenage Wales defender Dylan Lawlor, who is being monitored by Europe's elite, so we're told.

Wright drives forward but Lawlor is bailed out by Perry Ng and Calum Chambers who mop up neatly.

  13. Postpublished at 15:12 GMT 4 January

    Huddersfield 0-0 Exeter

First chance of the game falls to Huddersfield's Marcus Harness whose low shot from outside of the area is parried away to his left by Joe Whitworth.

  14. Postpublished at 15:11 GMT 4 January

    Cardiff 0-0 Wigan

A glimpse of goal for Chris Willock who picks up Alex Robertson's pass for the hosts on the edge of the box and spins away from his marker, only to skew his rising shot well over Sam Tickle's crossbar.

Not even Mr Tickle could have caught that...

  15. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 15:09 GMT 4 January

    Wycombe 0-0 AFC Wimbledon

Ooph! What a start that could have been for Wycombe.

Taylor Allen picks up Anders Hagelskjaer's flick-on but while his shot has plenty of venom, it comes crashing off the crossbar.

  16. Postpublished at 15:09 GMT 4 January

    Blackpool 0-0 Bradford

Slow to get going at Bloomfield Road on the pitch, but there's some lively Roses banter back and forth from the home fans and the sold-out away end from across the Pennines.

  17. Postpublished at 15:07 GMT 4 January

    Cardiff 0-0 Wigan

Chris Willock has been in good form of late and the Cardiff man does well to weave his way down the flank and create room for a cross, only to send in a rather tame delivery which is easily cleared.

  18. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 15:05 GMT 4 January

    Plymouth 0-0 Burton

What a start that would have been for Plymouth.

Lorent Tolaj is through on goal and attempts the lob but it comes off the bar.

A sign of intent from the League One leaders as the returning skipper Calum Chambers rifles in a thunderous effort from nearly 30 yards which draws a good save from Latics keeper Sam Tickle.
