    Did that warm you up?

Winter may have snatched away 14 of our games in League One and League Two today, but those that remained provided more than their fair share of drama.

There's more action next weekend (hopefully, weather permitting!) as Stockport face Huddersfield and Luton Town take on Stevenage in League One, while Bromley will look to extend their lead in League Two.

There's also FA Cup action to indulge in as the top two tiers join the fray, while if you feel robbed of EFL action this afternoon there's a Championship battle between Leicester City and West Bromwich Albion to enjoy on Monday.

We will be here to guide you through all of it so see you next time? Of course we will.

  2. 'Blackpool need some reinforcements'published at 17:14 GMT 4 January

    FT: Blackpool 1-2 Bradford

    Steve Thompson
BBC Radio Lancashire summariser & former Blackpool assistant manager

Sam Walker has not had a shot to save in 90 minutes, Bradford play a system that suits them.

Blackpool have had a lot of players out, they need some reinforcements, the mistake from Ollie Casey got them into the game, these injuries keep mounting up and when you see players going down you're hoping.

They've got to try to get this injury list sorted because it's costing them.

  3. Cardiff stay top of League Onepublished at 17:12 GMT 4 January

League One table next to Brian Barry-Murphy

It's as you were at the top of League One, but that doesn't really do justice to the day's drama.

After Lincoln came from behind to beat Peterborough 5-2 at lunchtime to go level on points with Cardiff, the Bluebirds responded by pummelling Wigan, though having to settle for a 1-0 scoreline.

Bradford edged to a nervy 2-1 win at Blackpool and now have a seven-point cushion over fourth with Huddersfield and Bolton having to settle for a point apiece against Exeter and Northampton.

Stockport went down 1-0 at Reading, who are up to ninth, a place ahead of Wycombe, who were 2-0 winners over AFC Wimbledon.

The Grecians are up to 14th while Plymouth's 3-0 win over Burton has catapulted them up to 16th, while the Brewers slide into the bottom four and Blackpool are 18th as eight teams are separated by just three points in and above the drop zone.

  4. How it looks in League Twopublished at 17:08 GMT 4 January

An image of the League Two table with a photo of Chesterfield's Sam Curtis celebrating

Just the two games in League Two today.

MK Dons conceded a late equaliser and missed out on a top-three spot, with opponents Chesterfield sneaking into the top seven thanks to Will Grigg's stoppage-time leveller.

Cheltenham are now 13 points clear of the relegation zone after their win over Crawley, who remain two points above the safety line.

  5. 'Some new faces need to come into the building'published at 17:04 GMT 4 January

    FT: Reading 1-0 Stockport

    Reece Brown
Former Bury defender on BBC Radio Manchester

They've got to be more ruthless and put the ball in the back of the net. Stockport and Dave Challinor will be really disappointed today.

They're still in an OK position but some new faces need to come into the building, some experience, some players that have that ruthlessness, we're too nice.

  6. FULL-TIMEpublished at 17:02 GMT 4 January

    Plymouth 3-0 Burton

Plymouth secure a valuable three points over relegation rivals Burton thanks to goals from Brendan Galloway, Mathias Ross and a Lorent Tolaj penalty.

The victory sees Argyle move up to 16th in the league and three points clear of Burton, who drop into the relegation zone in 21st.

  7. FULL-TIMEpublished at 16:59 GMT 4 January

    Blackpool 1-2 Bradford

    Phew.

Bradford's away-day blues are over, and they have won their first game in their baby blue away kit too.

The Bantams stay in touch with the top-two despite Aden Baldwin's first-half thunderbolt being cancelled out by Ashley Fletcher's 15th goal of the season in all competitions after the turnaround

Will Swan's first goal since September, after good pressing from Antoni Sarcevic after 67 minutes proved to be the winner and sucked the Tangerines back to 18th and two points above the drop zone.

  8. Postpublished at 16:59 GMT 4 January

    Blackpool 1-2 Bradford

We're two minutes over the eight added minutes at Bloomfield Road.

    Bradford are seconds away, surely...

  9. FULL-TIMEpublished at 16:58 GMT 4 January

    Huddersfield 2-2 Exeter

Spoils shared in a great game at the Accu Stadium as Jayden Wareham's late goal rescues a point for Exeter.

Huddersfield are now unbeaten in their past seven games and move up to fourth but will be frustrated that they couldn't hold on for the win.

Exeter, who battled hard in the second half, move up a place to 14th after a good point on the road.

  10. FULL-TIMEpublished at 16:58 GMT 4 January

    Reading 1-0 Stockport

A fantastic 89th minute strike from Lewis Wing clinches a fourth win in five league games for the Royals.

The game looked destined for a goalless draw before Wing pulled out a vicious strike from thin air to ensure the Royals continued their climb towards the top of the table.

It gives Stockport just their third defeat on the road this season and also means they trail second placed Lincoln by nine points, with Reading looking very dangerous just four points below them too.

  11. DISALLOWED GOALpublished at 16:56 GMT 4 January

    Blackpool 1-2 Bradford

    WOW.

So nearly a dramatic equaliser for the hosts but referee Simon Mather's whistle goes for a foul on Tyreik Wright in the build-up.

  12. FULL-TIMEpublished at 16:53 GMT 4 January

    Wycombe 2-0 AFC Wimbledon

A controlled performance from Wycombe Wanderers sees them put an end to their three-match winless run.

Niall Huggins found his first goal for the Chairboys to ensure the hosts were out of sight but their lead was never under threat from a toothless AFC Wimbledon.

The Dons didn't manage to get a single shot on target and it looks like their rut was only momentarily relieved. With only four points between them and the relegation zone, it's time to worry.

  13. INJURY TIMEpublished at 16:53 GMT 4 January

    Huddersfield 2-2 Exeter

We have seven minutes of added time.

    Will we get a winner?

  14. FULL-TIMEpublished at 16:52 GMT 4 January

    Cardiff 1-0 Wigan

Probably the most one-sided 1-0 you will ever see...

82% of possession, 18 corners and 17 shots for the hosts, one goal, but crucially three points.

Calum Chambers' early rocket into the top corner looked like it might open the floodgates, but Wigan's defence bent but did not break for the rest of the game, thanks almost entirely to Sam Tickle in goal who made a host of good saves, while Alex Robertson saw another effort loop back off the bar via a deflection.

Eight straight home wins, the best run City have had in more than 13 years, has restored Cardiff's three-point lead at the top of League One.

It's just an eighth defeat of the season for Wigan, but they remain deep in trouble in the lower reaches of the table.

  15. 'What an unbelievable goal from Lewis Wing'published at 16:52 GMT 4 January

    Reading 1-0 Stockport

    Reece Brown
Former Bury defender on BBC Radio Manchester

What an unbelievable goal from Lewis Wing.

It looks like it goes into the top left-hand corner, you can see the disappointment in Ethan Pye's face and I don't think they have deserved it, the clock is ticking but there's still time to go in the game.

  16. goal

GOAL: Huddersfield 2-2 Exeterpublished at 16:51 GMT 4 January

    Jayden Wareham (88 mins)

Exeter had been pressing and they've got their reward.

Ilmari Niskanen puts in a cross and Jayden Wareham is there to flick it home.

  17. INJURY TIMEpublished at 16:51 GMT 4 January

    Blackpool 1-2 Bradford

Into EIGHT additional minutes at Bloomfield Road.

Plenty of time for drama, then!

The near 2,200 away fans did not enjoy that news, it's fair to say...

  18. GREAT SAVE!published at 16:50 GMT 4 January

    Cardiff 1-0 Wigan

Into FOUR added minutes at the CCS as Ryan Wintle stings the palms of Sam Tickle with another rasping strike.

No doubt who the man of the match is today...

  19. goal

GOAL: Reading 1-0 Stockportpublished at 16:49 GMT 4 January

    Lewis Wing (89 mins)

Well... it won't be another goalless draw for Stockport.

Randell Williams lobs a long throw into the box and Jeriel Dorsett is able to provide the pass into Lewis Wing.

But it's the skipper that produces all the magic, thrashing in a gorgeous strike to cause the roof of the net to bulge.

Reading's run of excellent form is showing no signs of slowing.

  20. GREAT SAVE!published at 16:48 GMT 4 January

    Reading 0-0 Stockport

Just as it looks like Stockport are applying the pressure, Reading have it up the other end and are really turning up the heat.

Ethan Pye is in the right place to block out Lewis Wing's attempt on goal but only into the path of Kelvin Ehibhatiomhan.

Hatters keeper Ben Hinchliffe is quick to dispel the danger though and gets onto the ball.
