From front to back, Liverpool are defending really, really well.

Jana Fernandez bombs forward and does brilliantly to keep what looks like a lost cause in play, but her cross towards Izzy Goodwin is headed away by Jenna Clark and Liverpool clear.

Alice Bergstrom produces a fine cross towards Ceri Holland at the back post, but Jana Fernandez does well to clear the danger and is fouled.

Liverpool drive forward and spread the ball to Ceri Holland in space on the left, but the strike from a tight angle goes over.

They had the numerical advantage there but couldn't make the most of it.

London City's Sanni Franssi, who played for Real Sociedad when Eder Maestre was assistant coach, comes on for Freya Godfrey.

Everybody's eyes will light up with Izzy Goodwin coming onto the pitch. It was great watching her in the WSL for the first time at the start of the season and she has been excellent - effervescent and the shining light in this star-studded squad. The England U23 striker has really stood out.
