  1. 'It is a little bit disappointing'published at 16:24 BST 10 May

    FT: Crystal Palace 2-2 Everton

    Everton

Everton forward Beto speaking to Sky Sports: "It is a little bit disappointing to get one point - but the game was really difficult. They had really good system. They have good players and a good manager. It is always difficult to come down here to play. We are still fighting. We need to keep going and try to win the next two games.

On his goal: "I needed to be a little bit patience because I knew it was going to be a tough game. It was a tough first half and the defenders are strong and fast, so I needed to find a way and when I got my chance I was ready to take it."

On the fight for Europe: "You can say it was a missed opportunity but we are still in it, so we just need to focus on the next game."

  2. 'Everton carved them open a lot'published at 16:22 BST 10 May

    FT: Crystal Palace 2-2 Everton

    Danny Murphy
    Former Liverpool midfielder on MOTD

Everton will be disappointed to drop more points because although Palace were really good in the second half and made chances of their own, Everton carved them open a lot, and with a bit more quality in the final third, they will feel like they could have killed the game. They had some really good chances to do that.

You can hear more from Murphy on MOTD at 22:35 BST on BBC One and the BBC Sport website and app.

    FT: Burnley 2-2 Aston Villa

Zian Flemming worked hard for Burnley today and had more than enough chances to even take home the match ball.

Flemming's second-half equaliser took his tally for the season in the league to 10, making him the first Burnley player to score 10+ goals in a Premier League campaign since Chris Wood in 2020-21 (12).

  4. 'Giving the fans something to cheer for'published at 16:19 BST 10 May

    FT: Burnley 2-2 Aston Villa

    Burnley

Zian Flemming speaking to Match of the Day: "A good point for us, Villa are fourth or fifth in the league and have been impressive this season. So for us to be 19th and getting a point against them. That's good."

On his goal: "We won the ball on the left hand side. We tried to play it forward early, Hannibal with the back-heel, he thankfully saw me. The chance in the first half was a sitter I should have scored that one. You have to erase those from your mind as soon as possible."

Giving the fans something to smile about: "We've lost lots of games this season, especially at home. We haven't given the fans the results they wanted to see. We've played many games similar to this but have just lacked that final bit to get a result, never through a lack of effort or quality. However frustrating it is for the fans, we wished we could give them something to cheer for."

  5. 'If you can't win then don't lose'published at 16:17 BST 10 May

    FT: Burnley 2-2 Aston Villa

    Aston Villa

Aston Villa goalscorer Ollie Watkins, speaking to Sky Sports: "It was a really tough game and you've seen in recent weeks that they have become stronger. Manchester City only won 1-0 here. It was a valuable point after going behind but it's disappointing that we got in front and let it slip away.

"It's a good point. If you can't win then don't lose. We've got Liverpool at Villa Park next and we always make it difficult for them.

"We had an amazing result in Europe a few days ago and the amount of energy and effort you put into those game - you're leaving it all on the pitch. To go again in 48 hours is tough."

On his goal and having one ruled out for offside: "It was a long ball over the top and hit my shoulder - the ref said they were checking with the VAR - but it was able to stand.

"I got one ruled out in the first half, which was a shame, I think I need to get smaller boots."

  6. 'Oliver Glasner will be much happier'published at 16:14 BST 10 May

    FT: Crystal Palace 2-2 Everton

    Daniel Gabbidon
Former Premier League defender on BBC Radio 5 Live at Selhurst Park

Oliver Glasner will be much happier, they really didn't turn up against Bournemouth, they had a really important game, but they then got the job done against Shakhtar. He will be much more pleased with that, it was a better performance.

Maybe just me, but found Howe’s choices bizarre this season. Woltemade wasn’t doing terrible before he was dropped, Gordon up front was a failed experiment drawn out too long, and his midfield rotation has just been running players into the ground and swapping out.

The draw moves Palace a point and a place up the table into 14th, though they are still not safe from relegation.

For Everton, meanwhile, the draw keeps them in 10th and is a blow to their hopes of European qualification.

A brilliant game. I wasn't sure what to expect from Burnley, Michael Jackson has got them up and running. They've given it to Villa, who weren't at it in the first half. A great finish from Ollie Watkins in the second half. Burnley got back into the game and made it really exciting.

  12. 'Disappointing for Newcastle, point makes Forest safe'published at 15:58 BST 10 May

    FT: Nottm Forest 1-1 Newcastle

    Clinton Morrison
Former Crystal Palace striker on BBC Radio 5 Live

Good game of football, in particular that second half. Newcastle will be disappointed, they dominated and couldn't finsh it off and they are conceding too many goals at the moment. That kind of sums up their season and they can't wait for the end of the season to rebuild and go again.

For Forest it's a brilliant point. I think it makes them safe. They battled right to the end.

How have Burnley not claimed a winner?

Jacob Bruun Larsen looks to have put it on a plate for Zeki Amdouni but he just doesn't connect cleanly from four yards out.

A rare win may have just passed Burnley by.
