Lauren James sends another delivery into the Everton box from a left sided corner but after a series of head tennis the offside flag goes up on the far side.

Those fine margins are just not going the way of the champions today.

It's not just Chelsea who have a lot to play for. Everyone in this league now does. Everton, if they win today they'll have that little bit of a cushion.

It's so, so condensed in the middle of the park but Chelsea continue to try to play through Everton.

They've not had the accuracy in their possession to pull off those one and two touch passes that would unlock such a compact defence though.

Nice one-two between Ellie Carpenter and Alyssa Thompson to make room for a cross on the right but it is charged down valiantly by Ruby Mace.

She's been solid as a stand-in centre-half for the visitors so far this afternoon.

I don't know Matthew, you can never really count out Chelsea with the quality and squad depth that they have.

City do look a much more robust outfit this term though.

I'm not saying she should pass it, but is there a better option there top square it to James?
