  1. Postpublished at 15:11 GMT 3 January

    Kilmarnock 0-1 Hibernian

That goal for Hibs really was the first proper attack of the game. Can Kilmarnock respond with a goal from their first set-piece?

No is the answer as an opportunity to put a dangerous ball into the box from the left goes by the wayside with a wayward delivery.

  2. Postpublished at 15:11 GMT 3 January

    Falkirk 0-0 Aberdeen

Another Falkirk chance as Calvin Miller bends a free-kick around the wall.

It seems destined for the bottom corner, but goalkeeper Dimitar Mitov sprawls to tip it round the post.

Really strong start from the hosts.

  3. CLOSE!published at 15:11 GMT 3 January

    Dundee United 0-0 Dundee

Dundee should really hit the front with their first chance of the derby.

Billy Koumetio climbs highest to meet a free-kick, but the defender powers his header just wide.

  4. Postpublished at 15:10 GMT 3 January

    Motherwell 0-0 St Mirren

Motherwell break through Ibrahim Said and get deep into St Mirren territory before Emmanuel Longelo's ball into the box is lobbed behind for a corner.

It doesn't beat the first man though and ends up back with Calum Ward in the Well goal.

  5. Postpublished at 15:08 GMT 3 January

    Dundee United 0-0 Dundee

United have started by far the better at Tannadice and Krisztian Keresztes' header is tipped over the bar by Dundee goalkeeper Jon McCracken.

Moments later, Max Watters fires a low shot straight at McCracken.

  6. Postpublished at 15:07 GMT 3 January

    Hearts 0-0 Livingston

Claudio Braga surges down the left and his delicious cross is turned behind by Cristian Montano.

I'm not sure the Livingston defender knew where that clearance was going.

First move of the game from Hearts.

  7. Postpublished at 15:07 GMT 3 January

    Motherwell 0-0 St Mirren

Lukas Fadinger is fouled about 25 yards from the St Mirren goal and wins his side a free-kick, but the delivery smashes straight of the St Mirren wall.

The resulting corner is also dealt with by the visitors.

  8. Postpublished at 15:07 GMT 3 January

    Falkirk 0-0 Aberdeen

That could be 2-0 to Falkirk already!

Calvin Miller gets on the end of a deflected cross, right in front of goal and one-on-one, but goalkeeper Dimitar Mitov denies him from point-blank range.

    Ah, the flag goes up.

  9. goal

GOAL Kilmarnock 0-1 HIBERNIANpublished at 15:06 GMT 3 January

    Elie Youan

After a fairly tepid start from both sides, Hibs hit the front.

It's a rehearsed corner routine as Dan Barlaser and Josh Mulligan exchange passes before the ball is sent in for forward Elie Youan to apply the headed finish.

A nightmare for Kilmarnock, a dream start for Hibs.

  10. Postpublished at 15:06 GMT 3 January

    Hearts 0-0 Livingston

What an opportunity for Hearts to move six points clear.

But it's Livingston who have started brightly. Craig Halkett is robbed by Tete Yengi as he dithers at the back, but fortunately for the defender, the ball runs out for a goal kick.

St Mirren are sporting their stunning purple third kit, designed by members of the St Mirren Independent Supporters Association.

    It's a real belter.

They'll require an equally impressive performance if they are to burst the Motherwell bubble.

All smiles round Fir Park following on from Tuesday's superb victory against Celtic.

  12. Postpublished at 15:05 GMT 3 January

    Falkirk 0-0 Aberdeen

Big early chance for Falkirk and Liam Henderson.

I'm not quite sure why the big centre-half is up there, but he gets on the end of a cross and can only guide his header into Dimitar Mitov's arms instead of past the Dons goalkeeper.

  13. 'I really believe we can turn things around'published at 15:04 GMT 3 January

    FT: Celtic 1-3 Rangers

Celtic manager Wilfried Nancy tells BBC Scotland: "It was disappointing because we deserved more today, but again we needed more goals.

"The first half was outstanding. The intensity, the pressure, the commitment to compete, but it was only 1-0. In the second half, we conceded three goals from throw ins. It's difficult to accept, but it's reality.

"This is not about the players or the tactics, this is about moments. In a few moments, we could have done better. My players were outstanding in the first half, they wanted to do better in the second half, but the way we conceded, we have to be better.

"We have come from behind when we were losing [in previous games], but at this moment there is a bit of fragility when we conceded the second goal.

"This is not about myself, this is about disappointing the fans because I know the meaning of this game. They pushed us in a good way in the first half, they were behind us, but when we conceded goals, we wanted to push again. I can understand the disappointment, but I also saw what we're able to do. It's totally normal that they're disappointed.

"This is reality, but we have to stay together. We are really close, there are many things that can turn around. If it was not the case, I would not talk like this. We have many things that we are really close, but this is not enough regarding a few details. I really believe we can turn things around.

"We are together with the board."

    Andy Burke
BBC Sport Scotland at Rugby Park

Kilmarnock announced they aim to have a new manager in place next week, with final interviews due to take place in the coming days.

And we understand former Hearts head coach Robbie Neilson is emerging as the frontrunner for the job.

Neilson is currently working as assistant to former Hibs manager Lee Johnson at Belgian second-tier outfit Lommel having had a previous spell in the United States with Tampa Bay Rowdies.

It's understood that Liverpool legend Robbie Fowler was one of the applicants for the Killie job but is not under consideration.

Former Dundee boss Neil McCann and Aberdeen assistant Peter Leven are other names that have been linked with the post, but Neilson looks to be in pole position at this moment in time.

  16. Altena 'a confident boy' - McInnespublished at 14:56 GMT 3 January

Heart of Midlothian v Livingston (15:00)

Hearts head coach Derek McInnes tells BBC Scotland new right-back Jordi Altena is ready go.

"He's been playing games," McInnes said. "He's not coming from a million miles away in terms of his fitness.

"He's trained more or less every day and we got his clearance through yesterday.

"He's somebody the club have invested in and we're excited by. Hopefully he can show his qualities today. He's a very confident boy.

"It's important everyone plays a role today.

"If you've got a chance at any point in the season to go six points clear, you've got to try to take that."

  17. Will Hearts take advantage?published at 14:54 GMT 3 January

Heart of Midlothian v Livingston (15:00)

    Brian McLauchlin
    BBC Sport Scotland at Tynecastle

There is always expectation around Tynecastle and even more so given the result in Glasgow earlier.

The opportunity to go six points clear of the Old Firm is rare at any time of the season, but that is exactly what Hearts can do this afternoon.

And given the fact that Livingston haven’t won a game of any sort since August then few would bet against a home win.

But this is Scottish football and, as we know, anything can happen!

  18. Rangers' 'statement' pleases boss Rohlpublished at 14:52 GMT 3 January

    FT: Celtic 1-3 Rangers

Rangers head coach Danny Rohl tells BBC Sportsound: "I give big respect to my team. In the first half, we tried something, but they were better. They won the 50-50 duels and they played big and fast and behind, created us a lot of problems.

"In the second half, we changed at half-time a little bit the style of pressing. We are good in the game then.

"You have two stories, we can turn things in one half to come back 3-1 and win this game and the second story, we have a centre-forward with Youssef who scores fantastic goals.

"We should enjoy, but tomorrow but we have to be again, ready for the next game. This is a demanding league.

"My players did really well today. It is a statement. It's a massive three points, but now it's about continuing our way and there's also a good feeling to have three wins in a row now."
